Lost 46 lbs and maintaining..

Hi, I lost 50 lbs over 6-7 months. I have been trying to maintain my new weight. Any ideas or suggestions? I have incorporated healthier eating and exercise at least 4 days per week. Biking, jogging, hiking, and of course going to the gym.

I would like to lose 5 more pounds, but I am not sure if my body will allow it. I am 5'7" and a 24 yr old male.

As far as food goes, I eat all types of foods, but in moderation. Let me know if anyone has any other suggestions for maintaining.

My sincerest Congratulations !!!  That is an awesome accomplishment.

I do not know all of your stats (like weight), but you are an inspiration for sure.  You managed to lose 50 pounds, working out and eating healthy.  You can even eat all types of food and know the importance of moderation.

I think you are more of an inspiration and could give us other mainters a few good tips.

As for losing nother 5 pounds, are you happy ?  Are you healthy ?  Most mportantly ~ Do you feel good ?  I would say if you answered yes to all these questions, you're in great shape mentally and physically.  The other five pounds I would revisit in another 3 or 4 months.  Look at the wonderful accomplishment you have made.  Enjoy it.

As for suggestions on maintaining, I really am relatively new to this, so, I am looking to others as well.  The best you can do is continue your new healthy lifestyle and enjoy it !  Be happy.
