well, i've been on this site one week, and i lost 4 lbs.! praise the Lord!! this site really helps me stay on tract and gives me hope. here's to another week and another 4 lbs.
Congratulations! That's great! Just don't get frustrated if your 4lbs a week eventually evens out to 2lbs a week, it's a slow process to do this in a healthy way. Welcome to the site, it's a great place to get educated and support.

i was wondering the same thing. how did you lose that much in one week???
if its a newly started diet most of the loss is actually water
but dont five up fats is on its way ;)
when i first started i had the same thing happen i had lost 5 lbs in 7 days then gradually started loosing 2 lbs a week
just beware of harsh diets
i've been eating less than the suggested calorie amount. just not alot less, but less. also been semi following "The Makers Diet". drink TONS of water, and i make myself get up and move - park further away at stores, carry less forcing myself to make more trips unload groceries, going up and down stairs etc. more than anything - go rid of my fav food!
