Lost 102.2 lbs as of today!

Quote  |  Reply

I went to my doctors office this morning so I could get a weigh in before the weekend and much to my surprise (and sort of disappointment) I had found that I have now lost 102.2 lbs!!!  I was a bit disappointed because I had hoped for a little more loss but I will take 100lbs lost any day.  I started on December 17th 2007, I found this site after the new year and the rest has been easy street.  My initial goal is only 4.8 lbs away!!  My goal date was Feb 20th 2009 so I have just about 4 months to reach a goal that I really never thought was attainable.  I am still truly shocked that i could lose all that weight with very little physical activity and a zig zaging diet averaging 2300 calories a day.

So here is to working out soon, eating less calories and droping another 54.8 lbs!!!

THANKS CC!

WOW, congratulations!!!  Keep doing what you do!

AWESOME. Congrats on the weight loss and kudos for the hard work. Keep it up and I am sure you will surpass your goal by Feb.

Congratulations, that's totally awesome!

Congratulations and good luck with the rest of your weight loss! Stories lilke these are very motivational.

AWESOME!  I hope I can be writing the same story about my self in several months!  20 so far!  Anyway, what kept you motivated?  I am so scared that I am going to lose motivation one day.  any pitfalls us "big losers" need to worry about?

that is great! congratulations on a huge milestone!

Thanks for the congrats!.  Deagles fan I have a very odd way of staying motivated.  After I lost 50 lbs with relative ease I decided that I could probably surpass my original goal.  At 270 I am still over weight but at 220 I would be pretty close to not being over weight.  So my motivation is to get down to 220 or 210 so i can get a doctors exam to get a 20 or 30 year life insurance policy.  I have life insurance now but I want to lock a low rate in for a longer period time at a lower payment.  The healthier I am the cheaper my premiums will be.  So my motivation comes down to money and keeping my family safe and secure.

Also as far as keeping it going I zig zag my calories.  So i have spent the whole week eating 1500 to 1800 calories a day because I know tonight (Halloween) I am going to do some drinking and some eating and I want to allow my self to do so with out gaining weight or feeling bad about my self.  I could never eat 1500 calories every day and thankfully I learned from CC about zig zagging and it has made a world of difference for me.  That and eating black beans like they are going out of style.

way to go!  Keep up the great work.  You are a great inspiration!
