I too am fairly new here. But I've lost 9 lbs., 7 since I've been here. I've gone up to next notch on my belt and CC seems to help me make healthier choices. Also, I've found that some of the people here are quite supportive and like to bust my hump if I start to feel lazy. And that helps!

It's so wonderful to see so many success stories, and I'm right there with you guys!

CC completely changed my life. I've lost 30 pounds since last September between counting calories, exercising and the wonderful support members offer here. I am now 5 pounds away from my goal weight. I never, ever imagined I would be able to do it, but I'm a completely transformed person now (inside and out) and I have everyone at CC to thank for it! :) :)

Ive been here for about 2 months and I've lost just under 20 pounds. Im fitting in jeans I havent worn in years, and im starting to see the sides of my face to slim in and im in love with myself. I went from about 173 to 156 (as of this morning). I learned what i did wrong with what i was eating... especially when it came to breakfast, throught CC i learned turkey bacon was my best friend and i can lose all i want without starving through the day. I want to lose another 20 to 30 pounds for beach season, and with CC i know i can do it

I've been a member for over a year, now, I think.  I started *seriously* counting calories last May.  Since then I have lost about 35 lbs (I am 146lbs, 5'6").  But what's more, the community here has inspired me to start running (I am training for half marathon and run upwards of 20 miles a week now) and circuit training.

I'm far healthier and happier than I have ever been.  I have lots of muscle, strength, endurance, and tons of energy.  It's been great.

Best wishes.

I started losing weight by eating 1/2 of what I had been eating around the first of August.  I realized that I would have to get into something structured to continue to lose weight.  I looked at Weight Watchers, but I wanted something that I could understand, and I understand calorie counting.  I started at 324 lbs.  I began calorie count at 310 lbs on October 8, 2007.  I have lost another 35 lbs and am now at 275 lbs.  I like the grading of the diet, I find that it causes me to think about the kinds of things I am eating as well as the amount.  I intend to stay with this program until I am at 195 lbs.  I never feel deprived and almost always am comfortable and not hungry.  I am very pleased with this program.
I found CC in April 2006.   However, I was only logging my food spiratically and not utilizing the forums or journal features at all.
I quickly lost interest and motivation.
Then, in January 2007 I decided to take this seriously and started to log everything daily, and for added motivation, I would post my daily nutrition analysis in my journal.
I started making friends and building a support network, and here I am :)
I have lost the 12lbs I set out to lose (doesn't sound like much, but when you are 4'9", it makes a big difference!) and a few more :)
To date I have lost almost 20lbs and I am maintaining now.

Calorie Count is a blessing.

Jan 2007-Dec 2007 : 50 lbs lost by using CC.

But I've lost exactly 100 lbs total by healthy eating and regular exercise.

No "diets", but major lifestyle changes instead.  I am weight training now to firm up and turn my noodles into guns. :P

(I'm so proud to be a part of such a motivated, accomplished community!  Congrats everyone on your achievments!)

I've lost 45lbs on CC. Keeping a calorie count has been the ONLY thing that's helped me lose weight, and CC is the best/my favorite of them all. The community has also been a big help.

I started in January of 2007 at 203lbs, got down to 161 in the summer of '07, then I fell of the wagon for a bit. In Dec of '07, I weighed 176, and now I'm at 158. So 42lbs lost in around 6 months, and 18 lost since I got back on track. I know I could've met my goal in '07 had I not fallen off the wagon. CC was there for me when I was ready to get back on, though.

Yes! I have lost so far 21 lbs since starting in September 2007.  Started at 148lbs to 128 now.  4lbs away from my goal & I doubt I would have lost the baby weight without help from CC.
well hopes this help!  I've been on CC since January of 07 and to date I've lost 105lbs, counting calories and exercising.  CC has been the best change in lifestyle I have ever had and I can absolutely say it has helped me 100 % along with the added exercise.  If I can do it, anyone can do it!  Still have 10-15lbs left to go Smile
I started in November of 2007. I have lost about 12 lbs, and very happy about it. I was truly unable to see a healthy way of doing it before. Just need to get rid of 6 more and I am solid!

I started on December 17th, 2007 and I was 262, I have lost 12 pounds as of today, I'm a cheater (but I am admitting it!) I should be down twnty pounds, but As long as I am on a downward trend, I know I can reach my goals in a healthy way.

I get carried away with my excessive eating habits, i'm still trying to control them.  I enjoy CC because it is making me accountable for the things I put in my body.

It's so great to hear so many success stories.   I appreciate everyone's time to let me know how this website has helped them. It's very motivational!

Thanks!Laughing

Since October 1, 2007 I have lost 56 pounds.

AJ

I decided on Jan 10. 2006 that I wanted to be healthier. I was 5'6 and weighed 275 pounds. My goal was to get to 190 pounds. On 5-4-07 I reached that goal. I was a medium shirt and a size 12 bottom. I am now recharging myself (as of January 2008) to get to 155. I am currently at 180, a size 10 bottom, and a size small top. Can't wait until I am at 155, but there is no way I could have done it without the regular calorie checks on calorie-count.com.  My favorite part and most helpful aspect has been the recipe link that allows me to put in my ingredients and find out how many calories are in my favorite dishes. Who knew that my homemade chili only has 300 calories a bowl? I didn't before calorie-count.com. But now I do.

95 pounds gone and 25 more to go!!
I started CC faithfully on Jan 1st. It's now into February and I'm still going strong! This is the first time in my life I've ever stayed on a diet this long, and I don't even feel like I'm dieting! I've lost 11 pounds so far and intend to stick with it until the end. This website is my crack. :)
I've lost 9lbs since Jan 9th 2008! I love CC!
