so far, I had 2 big apples , one small pear, a medium banana, and 4oz blueberries. for protein, I had one cup non fat cottage cheese, and some alomnds in the morning. that is for breakfast and lunch... I binge on apples.. just need to vent.
by the way, is natural sugar the same as simple sugar? if not, what is it? how it will affect bood sugar in general? I am hungry now and really want a third apple.

sugar is sugar. But fruit has good things in it!!!! vitamins and that wonderful fiber. not empty cals like candy no nutrients there
what else did you eat today? what makes you crave apples?

Hate to sound blunt, but I agree w/ ricen.
I've seen other posts of yours...and really, this post could be slightly offensive to many of the people on here who would love to have their binges be on 2 big apples...all of 120 calories or so.
If it's a health food, eat however the heck much you want and consider yourself healthy
hey Jazzislove: It is a healthy food. I have just finished my third apple but I have to mention also that my carbs intake is very high today because of the fruits as well as my sugar intake. It is really important to make a carbs/protein balance but I just can't make it.
Also, 2 big apples are 214cals:) not 120...
If you could give me some ideas of other healthy snacks that have more protein and less sugar, that would be great.

Safina: I feel ya on the fruit love. I eat fruit with every meal. But jazzislove is right, it's a blessing that we crave something with nutrients and not a heaping pile of cheese fries! As far as other snack options, I've been trying to venture into OTHER food groups. Try a light string cheese with a piece or two of lunchmeat turkey. Or go for something green like a few stalks of celery or fresh broccoli. Hope that helps!
Hey, apples are healthy. Don't feel bad about eating three of them. If you starting eating nothing BUT apples everyday, then I would see a reason for concern, but three apples a day with other food is fine.
I eat 1 apple a day. but i wouldnt feel bad about having more if i was craving it. better then most the cravings I get!

Don't feel so bad. Apples have lots of fiber and hopefully that will keep you full longer.
