So does anyone else have a passion for cereal. I have to try and cut it out of my life because I eat not a small bowl thats normal people eat, but a huge bowl and mix my cereal.... LOL Its a weakness. Which I have a few other but still. This is one of the top ones. But the worst part is if i eat as much as I would really love to eat its got to be close to like 500-700 cals a bowl.. YIKES!!!! Well today I bought the Fiber One cereal...... and actually ate only a Cup and wow I love the stuff!!! lol But I didnt go back for more so thats awesome! 

So does anyone else love cereal as much as me???

If I could leave my husband and marry a Kellogg, I would. LOL! Just kidding, of course. I, too, am a cereal JUNKIE. I try to find sweet cereals that I can enjoy in moderations but that also have a decent amount of fiber in them. My favorites are: Kashi Go Lean Crunch, Cracklin' Oat Bran, Honey Graham O's, and Frosted Shredded Wheat. Yummm... cereal... carbs... yummmm...

Ok, must go eat some cottage cheese or something. This thread is making me hungry!

Yes, I eat cereal every single morning.  I love Special K w/Berries.  I also love cornflakes!!!!

Im freaking eating my SECOND BIG CUP of Fiber one cereal right now!  I LOVE IT!  mmmmm!  It is delicious......I eat it in the middle of the night...I crave it.  I wake up at 2 am, and it calls my name...I, literally get out of bed and go down stairs and eat it...then go back to sleep.....I can eat ONE of the TWO bags in the box in one sitting....and STILL want more!  Sooo yes....I love cereal as much as  you...perhaps EVENMORE!!!!

I actually figure it into my cc for the day.  I use cereal as my snack at night while reading or watching tv.  Heck of alot better then ice cream , or candy.  Although its high in sugar, most is fortified with vitamins and minerals.  Two cups of fruit loops for instance (which I eat dry) is only 220 calories with a boat load of goodies added in.  It even gets an A grade.  I even smuggle it into the movie theatre!!!

I eat 3/4 cup Special K Fruit & Yogurt cereal with 1/2 cup nonfat milk almost every morning.  But I love Cocoa Puffs!  =P

Hahaha I was just about to make my own post about cereal when I saw this! I have always been addicted to cereal. Even when I have been able to cut out just about every other complex carb in my diet, I can't help myself when it comes to a box of this stuff. And it can be any kind. I love fiber one but I still can't completely eliminate the more sugary varieties from my pantry. It's definitely my vice -- I guess there are worse things to be addicted to. :)

Oh I love everyones post!!! lol Yes so I am not the only cereal Freak!!!!   I just am glad lol I am not alone..... I hope I can try and cut back.... I went three weeks with out eating it and one night last week I had a huge bowl!!!! lol So yeah trying lol.... But I have got to say Fiber One really surprised me its really really good!!!   

 

Woohoo to cereal lovers!!!!!

I eat cereal every day, sometimes twice!! Like Kayk_tn I use to eat huge bowls, as much as I could get into the bowl and then go for seconds! Since joining CC and taking note of calories, I still eat cereal everyday, but only one cup at a time. Likely, my favorites are not too high in sugar like corn flakes, rice krispies and cheerios, but my absolute favorite is lucky charms. You gotta love those marshmallows.....LOL.

I actually just popped onto the CC board b/c I needed to vent over a cereal binge at dinner haha!

Now yes that was my dinner but man I probably had 3 bowls!

1 Cup Crispix, 1 cup Special K Fruit n Yog, some kashi Whole grain puffs (to bulk it up) and a small amount of Fruit loops tossed in for my sugar craving, with unsweetened almond milk, man that was a good dinner!

*yes in addition to cereal obsession I also like to blend weird combos! Cereal is definitly my favorite food, in that I could really eat it everyday and never get sick of it.

yesss i loveeee cereal!! probably half of my daily calories come from cereal lol (ok well not exactly but wtvr)  my day is like this- breakfast is cereal and yogurt... lunch is some sort of veggie dish and then a couple cups of cereal.... supper is meat/chicken/fish and veggies and fruit and cereal... later i eat more cereal.  lol but i dont overdue it on calories so i guess im ok- my favs rite now are high fiber o's from trader joes, puffins, and clifford crunch (cascadian farms)- none of em are too high in sugar so its not terrible

Stardust51 .... I am a cereal mixer too!!!! I use to do raise brand w/ fruity pebbles lol. Or any of the sweet cereal I buy for my daughter... Gosh when I was pregant it was horrible three or four bowls a day... guess that why I gained 60lbs lol ....     but yeah 3 years ago now... But I think I passed it on to her, she loves cereal and always wants it too.. Cereal Monster lol

I moved back to college just last Sunday. So i stocked up on some different kinds for my dorm room. Unfortunately, twice in this past week dinner rolled around and I decided I wanted cereal. 

Well...with four kinds at my disposal, there was no way to decide which would be the best choice...So I ate a massive bowl of each kind.

...Lame.

I love cereal as much as the next person but it just doesn't satisfy me. It is more of a trigger food then anything...plus it is never my cereal I am eating so then I feel bad for eating my mom's or sister's cereal. I have a love/hate relationship with cereal lol

 

I've been on a Cheerios kick for the last few months after I realized that they only have one gram of sugar and 100 calories per cup!  That's like half as many calories as the average delicious cereal, so you can eat twice as much!  I do, anyway.  It's pretty much the perfect breakfast cos it's basically a huge bowl of comfort food.

LOVE it, I mix wheat flakes, cheerios and wheat puffs. Huge bowl about 3 cups for breakfast. I think if you choose whole grain, low sugar, low cal it is ok. I could easily eat a whole box if I let myself. Surprised

I havent met a cereal that I did not love! lol I could down a whole box if i'm not careful, and i LOVE LOVE LOVE mixing my cereals.....oh its my weakness

I am freaking obsessed with cereal. If there is one food I could eat for the rest of my life it would be cereal. I will eat any kind, but unfortunately I LOVE sugary kiddie cereals. I love Captain Crunch, Trix, Corn Pops, Cocoa/Fruity Pebbles, etc. I could go on forever. I eat it for dinner, lunch, breakfast, snacks... whatever, as long as I get cereal at least once a day I'm good!

i LOVE cereal, but i rarely have it for breakfast. and i can usually keep it to one serving, but then there are random times when i just keep going back and picking out of the box (coughcough special k chocolatey delight cough).

but on the contrary to most people on here, i usually eat more sugary cereals, like frosted flakes, corn pops, fruity pebbles, apple jacks, trix, cap'n crunch, honey nut cheerios, reese's puffs, etc. not the greatest, but i keep it in moderation and it hasn't been detrimental to my health or weight loss so far.

i've thought of mixing my cereal but i'm not much of a risk-taker, ha ha.

omg i looovvvve cereal. and i go through phases of jus eatin one type of cereal for ages cause i love its so much.

my favourite is nestles almond oats n more...its so good...its got flakes with oat clusters on them an then big oat clusters and almonds....i have prob 100 g for breakfast every day...an i have had the exact same cereal every day for over a year now..i jus love it too much to change lol. it makes my mornings enjoyable. we go through boxes of the stuff.....i thought i was the only crazy cereal lover lol thank god im not

I LOVE cereal. I could eat it at every meal.
My favourite way to have it is to mix 2 or 3 together(usually 3, lets be honest) and then put in enough soy milk so that the cereal soaks it up but there is none left over. And I have to have some sort of fruit in it.

I am currently obsessed with the rice krispie/fibre one/banana/raspberry combo.
