I LOVE my...
Throughout my CC journey, I've noticed that the specific things I like about myself have changed. At first I could only point out personality traits, but I'm starting to learn how to like the physical aspects of my appearance as well, even though my weight has fluctuated crazy amounts (like 15 pounds up and down a few times) within the past couple of months.
I think it could be beneficial to say what physical aspects of our bodies we have grown to admire since beginning our weight loss/gain/maintain journeys, and also what we hope to learn to love as our journeys progress. I'll go first:
What I've learned to like:
- My eye and hair colors
- My shoulders
What I want to love:
- My belly, butt, and thighs
- My cheeks
- My feet and fingers
Well, it's getting there! :) How about you all?
What I've learned to like:
- I'm going to second you on the hair colour, but I dye mine so maybe I'm cheating. I've always wanted to have crazy hair.
- My arms
- My bum (my boyfriend compliments my behind on a regular basis; I was not previously aware that it was one of my better features)
- My height. I used to be embarrassed about being short, but now it's just funny. I can't see out the peephole in my apartment. I laughed so hard.
What I want to love:
- My belly, that little jelly part that likes to stick around
- My face
I was in a better place in regards to my feelings about my body image than most people here so here's my list:
What I've always liked:
- my eyes
- my facial structure
- my shoulders
- my butt
- my "child bearing hips"
- my legs
What I like better now:
- my shoulders
- my arms
- my facial structure
- my legs
- my abdomen
What I have learned to deal with:
- my belly pooch...it is much smaller but still there and sticks out if I've just eaten and am using poor posture
What I've learned to like:
- My chin;
- My shoulders;
- My ankles;
- My wrists;
- My hair.
What I'm want to love:
- My arms, legs, bum and tum (especially that annoying jiggly bit)
Work in progress! Lol
What I've learned to like:
- My eyes
- My hair
- My shoulders
What I want to love:
- My belly
- My butt
- My thighs
- My cheeks
- My feet and fingers
- My legs
- My arms
- My self
About the only part of myself I used to like were my wrists and ankles! Over the last 3 or 4 years I've started to learn that I should make the most of the body type I have instead of wishing I was an underwear model look-a-like so now I like:
my ankles, calves, "earth-mother" hips, abs, breasts, shoulders, forearms, neck, jaw, ears and eyes.
What I still don't love:
my thighs, my jiggly upper arms and my frizzy hair. I figure I'm always going to have my tummy upholstery so there's no fighting it.
have always loved:
- my eyes
- my nose
- my lips
- my hands
Would love to love:
- my legs
- my arms
- my belly & butt

Working on it but still have a looooooooong looooooong way to go...
