My love handles are disappearing!

Quote  |  Reply

So, I'm at a healthy weight for my height, but I'd still like to lose a few more lbs and tone up. I saw a picture of myself in a dress a little while ago and I was upset to see how prominent my love handles looked. It made the dress look funny on me...I'd been more relaxed with my eating and was eating a lot of Halloween candy, so I made a commitment to myself to go back to eating cleaner, more fruits and veggies, whole grains, lean protein, healthy fats. I gave the rest of the candy to my husband.

Well only a couple weeks later and my love handles are going away! I tried on the same dress yesterday and it looked a lot different on me! The one downside is that without the extra fat I have very straight hips, going straight down from a slight indent at my waist all the way down to my thighs. But, it is SO much better than the love handles I had before!

I am so excited. Jeans that were making me have a muffin top are now fitting much better without any bulges. It truly pays to eat healthy and clean!

Anyone else have any successes they'd like to share? :)

YAY congratulations!! That's so exciting! Good for you for making a commitment and sticking to it. :)

My success - I started CC last October, was good for about 5 months, then forgot about it until this past August. Even though I weigh about the same as I did a year ago, my weight has been totally redistributed throughout my body. Looking back at pictures, my face was so round! Now it is slimmer and looks much better in pictures. :)

PS.. there is no downside to getting rid of extra fat. Don't put yourself down! Do a little dance. Celebrate!

The fit of clothing is certainly the one of the best ways to gage your progress. Congrats!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =] I envy you.

Success- Ive lost a pants size in the past year-ish but my love handles are still there, but less prominent.

And yeah, i think clothes are a terrific gage, but i think the thought of losing weight sometimes gives me more confidence than i should have in certain clothes. [lol]

This morning I got back into a pair of jeans that I haven't been able to wear for a month or so! I was pretty excited : )
