Love Handles and Fat around the kidney/back area...
Hey! I was just wondering.. does anybody know a good workout or something at the gym worth checking out that can focus on the lub handle and lower back area. I seem to be having the most problem in that area.. While I have lost a lot there, its still puffy and not the way it should be. To date, I have lost 87lbs since May 6th, 2009. Eatting healthy and excercising. Also, have gone down 8 jean sizes. Anyhow.. ya. Does anybody know a good way to fix this problem that I have going..

Unfortunately, there is no way to target a certain area for fat loss.
Overall weight loss, through diet and exercise (including weight lifting), will eventually result in fat loss from that area, but it isn't something you can speed up.

Wow! That's alot of weight lost in 5 months. Congrats.
I will give you a really simple exercise you can do anywhere as long as you have a towel. Roll it up long ways, hold it first above your head with arms stretched out turn to your left and then to your right, then back to center... take your arms once again straight above your head and bend your waist to your right side as far as you can go. You will really feel the stretch. Return to center and then repeat on opposite side. While doing these exercises, keep your feet about shoulder width apart.
Once last thing I do with the towel, spread legs farther apart while standing, take arms again straight above head and make a circle with your upper body while bending at your waist. If you feel a strain on your low back, bend your knees slightly.
These sound really simple, and they are, but also very effective.

Excellent job! The unfortunate part is you can't spot reduce and when you have such a large weight loss some of the extra might be lose skin and this doesn't go away without surgery. Keep up the good work and if it turns out to be skin you might need to look into a tuck later if you find it to be something you really want to get rid of.

Sorry, I don't have any advice, but Congrats your accomplishment is remarkable!!!!
I agree with the other posts that there is no "spot specific" exercises that will "target" the area, but I would encourage you to focus on 2 specific things:
Lunges or squats
and
pull-ups
These work your largest muscle groups and will speed your fat burn.
