Love/Hate Healthy Food.
Which healthy food do you love and which do you hate ?
I love eating my Multi-Grain Cheerios every morning with Skim Milk. <3 It's a great way to always start my morning.
I hate drinking Green Tea at night. =( So good but so horrid.
Reason: Set as Food Forum Sticky
I love pretty much all healthy foods. Well, I love almost all food in general. Hahah.
I hate sauerkraut and most pickled vegetables, if they count.
I love love love sweet potatoes. I'd eat them every day.
I hate broccoli. I always have, and I am convinced I always will. I don't care what you put on it or put it in, I will never like it. Consequently, I don't eat it. Life's too short, and there are other, tastier veggies.
Me + Healthy Food = Greatest Friendship EVER! Ah ha ha! But in all seriousness... I HATE: dried fruit (although I don't think it's healthy but some do), mangoes, guava, papaya, bananas, potatoes, corn, peas, carrots, yams, sweet potatoes & beets....
Now what healthy foods does my stomach/intestines HATE... WELL ALL: I have terrible digestion issues... Love having allergies, NOT! AH HA HA!.
I love - Bananas, peaches, cantaloupe, honedew melon; raw carrots, cucumber and cauliflower; spinach, yogurt, oatmeal and Kashi GoLean & GoLean Crunch!
* I also have been loving eggs lately! I do not know why, but I have been craving them like mad these past few days, and I never used to before.
I hate - Apples, watermelon, raw tomatoes (learning to like them..), any non-sprouted grain bread, seafood/fish, cheese and milk.
I love vegetables, all kinds, all types. Especially steamed brocolli, pickled beets/pickles in general.
I'm not a fan of corn or peas now. Used to love them but only because they were covered in butter. And the only 'dried' fruit I can stand on their own are prunes.
oh man, where to begin...I love: wild fish and seafood (snapper, halibut, tilapia, salmon, tuna, shrimp, scallops), broccoli, bell pepper, spinach, zucchini, green beans, pumpkin, bananas, apples, pomegranate, avocados, strawberries, raspberries, oatmeal, cottage cheese, eggs and egg whites, skim milk, chicken, lean beef (preferably grassfed but it's so darn expensive!) yogurt, and a bunch more other things that I cannot think of right now. XP
edit: OH OH OH. cant forget the nuts/nut butters
I have three big loves when it comes to healthy food: asparagus, almond butter and honeycrisp apples.
I hate eggplant, give me a break.
Loves: Berries, mango, nuts and seeds, fatty fish, shellfish, game meats, yogurt, cheese, goat milk, pretty much any herb, black rice, cruciferous vegetables (except those listed under "hates"), mushrooms, onions, garlic, sea vegetables, and squash
Hates: cress, turnip greens, bitter melon, beets
I LOVE SAUERKRAUT!! Most people think it's digusting
I also love tomato paste, fish of all types, steamed cauliflower, brussel sprouts, spaqhetti squash, pumpkin, zucchini, berries, flax seed, soy milk, tofu, and NATURAL NUT BUTTER!!!
I hate RAW TOMATOES, ugh I can eat them canned or in sauce, but that nasty acidic taste and the texture when they're raw is dreadful!! I also hate hard boiled egg yolk, I LOVE it runny/over-easy, but when it's cooked it's all chalky and nasty.. oh and most cheese is disgusting!!
Like many here, I'm a pretty adventurous eater and I like most healthy (and, unfortunately, unhealthy :P) foods and dishes. However, my three favourite healthy foods at the moment are pears, almonds, and raw tomatoes (what's with all the hate? xD). My three least favourite healthy foods are beets, mushrooms, and papaya. UGH, UGH, UGH. Seriously, what is WRONG WITH YOU PAPAYA?
I seriously love all food, well except maybe okra and cucumbers. I wanna like cucumbers, but they taste too much like grass to me. :-( But its okay, when me and my boyfriend eat salads we trade our veggies we don't like. Cucumbers go to him, and his tomatoes go to me! Yum! :-)
Oh, and as much as I love Kiwis, apparently they don't love me anymore. :-( Sadness. I just ate one the other day and my mouth started burning and then eventually went numb. It was a brand new thing too, as I used to eat kiwis all the time as a kid. It was a sad day for me.

Oh, and can I add that I am NOT a fan of tofu no matter how much I try? Another thing I WISHED I liked because hey, its a good idea. I like soybeans, I like fake meat products that TASTE like meat, heck I think I even like soymilk to a certain point! But tofu tastes like slimy rubber to me. It reminds me of the gelatin that pools up on fatty meat when it cools down. Go figure.![]()
I love broccoli, butternut squash, spinach and pretty much every kind of fish

Tofu is so hard to make properly and there are so many places that don't do it right. I have also tried VERY hard to enjoy it but just can't do it!
OMG Tofu is the worse lmao. I would never eat that.
healthy foods i love, i like everything pretty much, love oatmeal, dried fruits, sprouted breads and grains...quinoa, hemp milk(love) greek yogurt and all nuts and flax!
i dont really like watermelon, cheese and i dont like organic frozen meals...i used to love Amy's products, but got kinda sick of them and dont care to eat that stuff anymore...also i dont really like chia seeds, i tried them they are okay i guess a bit odd tasting.
LOVE: asparagus, crisp sweet-tart apples, bran flakes (Wheaties/Raisin Bran), lean red meat & quinoa, flavored yogurt, any tea
HATE: cucumbers, watermelon, cous-cous, tofu, cottage cheese, coffee
I arranged my love/hate by food group...veg, fruit, grain, protein, dairy, misc
I grew up in a very healthy home and I never aquired the taste for junkfoods. I can stomach most health foods with utmost delight...all fruits, squash, yams, avocado, all nuts, herbal tea, oats and muesli, flaxseed/pumpkin/sunflower/pumpernickel/rye bread, tofu and soy products, garlic, spinach, tomatoes, quinoa, tempeh...
I dislike hemp milk (at least the brand I have tried), celery, cooked or boiled vegetables, chia seeds, radish, and dried fruits.
I loveeee: Bananas, strawberries, pears, peaches, nectarines, oranges, pretty much all fruit, green beans, broccoli, eggplant, all types of lettuce, bean sprouts, zucchini <3, honey nut shredded wheat, soy milk, wheat bread, and I actually loooove tofu.
I hate raw tomatoes as well. And beets.

Really? Most people I know like it.
I like most healthy food. I'm a fruit nut. Also love potatoes, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, yoghurt, muesli, tomatoes, beetroot and mushrooms, chicken, fruit tisanes, asparagus, roast veges, fish, lamb, beef, most kinds of meat.
Healthy foods I dislike are few and far between. Salmon sashimi or large portions of salmon (I can handle a little bit in fishcakes), peanut butter, and hard-boiled egg yolks (but soft-boiled yolks, poached eggs and scrambled eggs are fine).
