For love or money?

love

I concur, why though?

Right now, money because it's the source of all the stress in my life.

It is easy to say love, but when the rubber meets the road, who is to say which is the better choice? Sadly, I think I could "learn to love" someone with money as terrible as it sounds, as long as they loved me. That sounds awful I know :(

^ Agreed. So we'll be awful together.

Thanks :) That makes me feel a little better

I DID choose love. I dated a guy who was loaded, sweet, funny, and he loved me like crazy.

But he wasn't right for me, and when I met the guy who was, I left the millionaire.

And I don't regret it.

Even though I'm not with the "right" guy now. It was worth the four years of true love.

Love! I fell in love with an amazing guy who might never be rich. And I couldn't care less, so long as we are with each other :)

Love.

I make more than enough money on my own that I wouldn't need to marry someone for it.

Love because money can't buy happiness. I want someone who's going to be there with me forever and love me unconditionally and be happy rather than have all the money in the world, have everything you could ever dream of, a spouse who I don't really love and be miserable.

I agree with the fact that I want someone who loves me, no matter what their income is. However, I disagree with the idea that money can't buy happiness. If I could pay for college, see my parents stop stressing about money, study abroad, pay for the sports my brother has had to drop because of lack of funding, be able to afford gas money to see my friends more, have the ability to purchase all of the books that catch my eye at Borders, the list goes on and on... I think I'd be a lot happier than I am now. I guess that grass is always greener, though. I'm sure there are people barely surviving in poverty who would be ecstatic to live middle-class way that my family and I do. =/

I supose it could buy happiness for some people but for me no matter how much money I spend on whatever it may be, I'm not happy for long. I see where your coming from though..

I think we have to agree to disagree on that one. Money could DEFINITELY buy me happiness.

From experience, it hasn't bought me happiness but to each their own.

Well the guy having money wouldn't hurt. Haha. The man I am with though and am in love with is almost poor..but he is the sweetest guy in the world and I wouldn't give it up for the world. Now just if we could win the lotto.....

Lol well I don't mean that I'd be perfectly content with life if I were wealthy, but I do believe it would make things a little easier.

I love myself and make my own money. Oldest question in the book, answered.

haha I just read that....i like it :)

Love. Oh man, love. Because when I've tried to do something I'm half interested in for the promise of money (i.e. treeplanting, a desk job, my M.A....), I always bolt halfway through. I wouldn't be able to last it out in a relationship if it were only for money. (Maybe if the sex is awesome....... :P)
