Lol annnd I am already having issues...can anyone help me with the following:

-How come because I am in maintenance mode it shows up on my home page as maintaining at my start weight? I would rather it say my goal weight...in order to get it to do this I have to switch back to weight loss mode - but I want it to say maintain! But when I change the weight - my weight loss graph goes awayFrown - is there anyway I can get it to show the progress I've made instead of erasing it all and having to start again at maintenance? That just seems silly to me that it would do that...

-Can I get it to "hide" the current activity I don't want to see? Everybody making friends with everybody seems to just crowd up the display and I would rather see just the new forum topics for example. Is there some setting I could change to accomplish this?

Maybe take a bit to work all the kinks out lol....but thanks for the new site! Looks like it took alot of work definately - It looks great and I love the new tools!

I do not know if I have the same or a similar problem but I am not in maintenance.  It has all my data but it somehow reset my start date to today??  My graph only has today on it even though the log has all the entries.  And it changed it over on the old site as well, so I think it modified a setting.  Is this fixable?  I really loved having the site analyze me since I started way, way back in December 2005.  I do not know if it is a bug or the sequence of what I did when I signed up.

I like the new site and I like the old site too.  That is awesome that you gave users the platform option.

Thanks Erik and Igor for another great leap in your site!!  Cece

EDITED TO UPDATE:  I fixed the "issue" myself by changing my start date to my original start date and now my graph displays all the data.  I should have tried that first, but had to remember the first day I started.   It must have been my fault - nevermind!!

1. Maintenance mode question - the short answer is that you will have to change the start weight in order to display the correct number. The long answer has to do with data architecture and availability - the goal weight parameter is not available to us in the maintenance mode, and as such we cannot display it.

2. Hide activity - not sure why you would want to do that - that information cannot be seen by others, and as such we did not identify a privacy issue. If what you are talking about is a pure usability issue, we will continue to optimize the flow and the display of the site on an ongoing basis and will gladly make a note about this matter.

3. New forum topics - in the works.

I was not able to replicate that bug. Do you think you might have changed the start date inadvertently by yourself?

I've been in maintenance for about two months now, so what I did was to change my start weight to my current weight, and then set my start date to the first day I hit my goal.  This erased my lovely downward curve, but I still at least have two months of chart, and the homepage is now correct.  Actually I'm convincing myself it's better because the chart is a little easier to read with the points more spread out. :)

Thx for your help! I will change the start date and weight - it means I can't see my nice downward curve either but I will go with miaokitty's idea and just convince myself it's better lol.

My point about the activity is when I am on Overview, it shows everything that is happening currently on the site basically...who made friends with who, journal entries, posts, etc. I guess I would prefer it to be something like the old way where it just showed recent activity on the forums, (or gave me the option to just show that or something) instead of everything crowded together. Just for ease of use I guess...if I want to see if there has been any new posts on a post I was interested in I have to click on forums, then go to that forum, then click on there and see if the post is there...maybe a seperate area for just recent forum activity or something would be something to look into? Does that make sense at all? Just getting used to the new format I guess...I've gone back to the old site to browse forums though because I didn't like this format as much because of that....
