Who loves BREAKFAST?!! :-)

Its my favourite meal of the day!!! What does everyone have for their breakfast that makes this time of the day so enjoyable? :-)

 

For me it usually looks like this:

2 pkgs apples and cinnamon oatmeal (my FAVOURITE food!!!)

Yogurt and Vector mixed together (soo yummy)

Apple or some cantaloupe and a few hardboiled eggs

 

I think that having a higher calorie breakfast (500 ish) really keeps my engines going throughout the day. Who's in here with me? :D

i loooove breakfast :). my breakfast varies a lot; it really depends on the day and what mood i'm in.

i've acutally noticed that most of my snacks are breakfast foods, too haha.

aw - i thought you were talking about breakfast.  like, two eggs, sunny-side up, hashbrowns, sausages, toast and peanut butter, and a huge glass of freshly-squeezed orange juice.

i mean, i like my cereal as much as the next person, but we're not talking "love" without the potential for ketchup ;)

sometimes i have pancakes and turkey bacon, and a egg white.. or.. i have toast, egg white, and some turkey bacon with cheese... or.. i have yogurt and grape nuts with some pineapples in it.. all depends on how well im doing during the week wit the cals

I love my bran flakes and soya milk with strawberries on top.
So yummy :-)

Oatmeal and cinnamon is proper good too :]
Or Egg White & Marmite omelet!

Breakfast is well the best meal of the day :)

for breakfast i typically eat either all bran, cheerios, or oatmeal with vanilla soymilk.

Oh god, I love porridge at breakfast. Especially as winter is rolling in. It gives me a reason to wake up in the morning. ^_____^ Uh, beyond the ones I normally have.

My favourite is my weekend breakfast..... usually a thick spanish-style 2-egg omelette or frittata with baby spinach, chilli pepper, tomato, spring onion and potato.  A sniff of cheese on the top and all popped under the grill until puffed up and gorgeous.   Big mug of fresh coffee.  Dollop of HP sauce....

Just had this myself.  I buy the lower sugar kind to justify the 2 packs.  I eat that first thing in the AM and by 9 or 10 usually have  piece of fruit and a cheese stick too.

Breakfast is my favorite meal! I love just about every kind of 'breakfast food' (Except meat) 

My favorites include Waffles, pancakes, french toast, and omelets. Yum! Although, it can be a little challenging to make those healthier than their average counterparts. But sometimes I don't even care :]

I really look forward to breakfast every morning, even when it's just a bowl of cereal and an apple (like this morning).

i usually eat quaker weight control oatmeal, an apple, and a handful of baby carrots.

But if you are talking BREAKFAST and calories/fat were non-existant, i would head over to the nearest IHOP and get some waffles with strawberry topping and syrup.. yummmm

I love breakfast. I usually find myself planning the next day's breakfast before I go to sleep! haha.

I usually have a 400 calorie breakfast of either yogurt, eggs, egg whites or cottage cheese plus either cereal, toast, oatmeal, granola or a waffle.

It is my FAVORITE meal of the day!  I plan out my breakfasts the morning before and cut up produce and such so that breakfast is as enjoyable as possible.

My typical breakfast is around 300 cals (because I usually workout in the morning and don't like to have too full of a stomach despite waiting for it to digest).  It ALWAYS includes some kind of fruit and a home made latte made with 1/2 cup 2% milk.  Then I incorporate a fat and/or a carb such as peanut butter, cereal, or a bar of some kind (Kashi or Luna usually).

fritata is a mexican (spanish?) style omelette.  you whip up the eggs nice and frothy and put them in an oven-safe pan (i usually sautee the veggies on the stove-top first, then take it off the heat and let it cool a little before putting the eggs in).  a little cheese on top, then it all goes in a hot oven, where it rises like a soufle.  then you slice it like a pie.  yum!  great when you're serving four or more people, because you can use as many eggs as you want ;)

Serving of plain oatmeal mixed with Quakers Brown sugar and Cinamon weight control instant oatmeal, on couple of flax bread toasts. With some hot tea. mmmm delicious.

Mix of strawberry oatmeal with Farmers cheese on a toast. Also very delicious.

mmmmm breakfast! It's always my biggest meal of the day because I have the most time in the morning, so I make it count! I usually have a bowl of either oatmeal, cream of wheat, or cream of rice with granola sprinkled on, a dash of brown sugar, a tsp each of raisins and dried cranberries and (if I'm feeling particularly naughty) a few apples from the waffle-topping station. Delish, and sooo filling!

And fritattas are the best, and not just for breakfast! They're Italian (btw ;)) and my roomie and I used to make them all the time when we lived in Italy. Soooo easy, even for a crowd!

Try this:

Chunky Chocolate Breakfast Treat

1 cup fat free cottage cheese
1 T cocoa powder
1/2 t cinnamon
Splenda to taste
optional: 1/2 cup cereal; I like Cheerios


Mix it all together.  With the Cheerios, it's about 230 calories.  I like to cut up apples and dip them.

And if I don't use cereal, I slap it on some bread.  Mmmm.

Ahh you guys have me thinking.  I love french toast but being on the diet I don't get to eat it but I can make it with light wheat bread and use egg whites, instead of whole eggs.

Thanks for the idea.  Another good idea I  saw was a spinach omelet.

This site has been a nice addition to weight loss.

I start thinking about breakfast the night before. There are so many choices that I just can't seem to make up my mind. I like egg whites, soy bacon, toast and peanut butter, waffles, pancakes, and fruit.  I usually have my cereal at night. It really depends on what I have to do that day. If I'm going to work, I'll totally load up on carbs, but if I'm home I'll do something lighter because I have the opportunity to eat as many times a day as I want.
