I am sorry if this subject has already been discussed... I searched the forums a bit but not a lot. 5 days a week I drink 2 cups of coffee with cream.... I use 3 tablespoons of fat free french vanilla. So that adds up to about 180 calories in a day of just coffee!
I am wondering what I should use instead... I HATE black coffee and can't really cut coffee out since I get up super early and need it. Thanks for your suggestions.

Instead of the french vanilla creamer use fat free half and half from coffee mate, it's only 20 cals for 2 Tbsp. Then you can always add a drop or two of vanilla extract or some cinnamon.
Or if you really need the caffeine in the morning and can't drink coffee black try some black tea in the morning without cream or sugar.
Good luck!

180 calories!? What brand of coffee creamer do you use!? My liquid french vanilla coffee creamer(coffeemate? or something) normal is only 35 calories per tablespoon!
..or do you mean you use 3 tablespoons per cup?
If thats so I suggest that you try to cut back on the amount of creamer just a LITTLE bit, its possible to slowly adjust your taste to actually PREFER less creamer in your coffee. Well it was possible for me, I currently find the perfect amount of creamer to be almost exactly 1 tablespoon (I round up to 40 cals).
If you really dislike the taste of coffee so much maybe you should try to switch to something else high in caffiene? You could use black chai tea, but you'd have to drink about twice as much for the same amount of caffiene...
I just reccomend you get a creamer thats not fat free, and then cut back on the amount used, imho; quality > quantity

Can I just ask as well: black coffee; good thing or bad thing?
I know previous diets I've been on (GL) said keep as far away from caffeine as possible, but I hated that and it was the one aspect I couldn't do. I drink a lot of herbal and green teas too, but is the odd black coffee alright when I'm trying to lose weight? I don't take it with sugar, usually just two sweeteners if I have any.

i use skim milk, yes its not as exciting as a flavoured coffee but its still good withles guilt. but i have used some coffeemate creamer 35 clories per tbsp. really i dont evn need a whole tbsp, maybe half it has so much flavour.
I use black instant coffee made with water and one packet of slenda. It tastes the same as regular coffee with milk and sugar. The good thing is that 8fl oz of it only has 5 calories...but really its 0 since splenda supposedly has no calories and nor does the water and coffee so i really dont know why CC has it for 5 calories :)
I know splenda makes a new flavored sugar.. they have french vanilla ... I havent tried it but it might be worth a try. you could add a little skim milk too. also they do have sugar free flavored syrups. you really only need a tiny amount of those to get the flavor.
