I really really like the pringles select. Most of them are about 140 cals for 28 chips. Not really an "alternative" per se, but does the job when you really need some chips.

soy crisps. Look for them, they are really good

Cabbage. (Yes I am crazy, but you can dip raw cabbage in anything you'd dip chips in, and it works.)

soy crisps or popchips

pretzels or you could have the baked lays, they are usually 120 calories, 2g fat per serving!

Pirates booty...140 cals and delicious...healthy too...well semi "healthy"

100 cal bags of popcorn

Saltines or ww crackers

Baby carrots

That's all I can think of...hope it helps

Plain unbuttered pocorn. Buy kernels in a jar...put some in a brown paper bag and microwave. No salt and no butter. Very healthy and you can eat a ton. I'm having some right now. Good fiber source as well.

Pop chips are incredible!!! Seriously!!! http://www.popchips.com/

They sell them at Whole Foods and Target, I think, but go to the website and you can order them online too. The chips are big and very filling. 22 chips is only 140 calories, and they are so filling!

If you're in the cooking mood here are a couple of options for you:

- Sliced & Baked Eggplant

- Kale "Chips" - Baked with Olive Oil & Pizza Seasoning

- Broiled/Baked Asparagus Spears with Olive Oil & Garlic (Green Beans done the same way)

- Sliced Yam & Baked with Olive Oil, Salt & Pepper (Can be done with zucchini & summer squash too)

Bagel chips. The bags of sliced, baked bagels with flavourings... so good.

Other baked chips might be an option too.

Or just have a smaller portion of what you really like. :)

Popcorn works really well for me, for snacking cravings.  With a hamburger, raw veggies with some light ranch works well - gets that crunch craving.  Pickles or pretzels might also help.

Ooh, kale chips! I love 'em - although I don't usually do pizza seasonings, just salt and pepper, and I add in a little vinegar with the olive oil. Even if you don't like kale, give these a try (google "kale chips" for a more detailed recipe).

Pita chips are great.  You can either buy them, or make them yourself.  I prefer making them myself - cut a pita into sections, spray with olive oil spray, then season with spice flavor you prefer, or just salt & pepper.  Very tasty!

I simply take the kale... spray it with olive oil spray (after washing the leaves & maybe cutting them up a bit...) and then sprinkling them with seasoning and baking/broiling until crispy! :)

Ruffles Light potato chips - 70 calories for 15 chips

Celery stalk and olives.  Buy some spanish olives (the green ones with the pimiento inside).  For 5 olives it is 25 calories and 2.5 grams of fat. This is the best way I know and works for me everytime!  The celery is crunchy and the olives are salty. I eat them slow and the salt and little bit of fat totally nips the chip bug in the butt!  Good luck!

i really like harvest cheddar sun chips dipped in fat free cream cheese! GOD! you could cut up butternut squash very thinly and cover it it in a lil olive oil OR none at oil and bake them in the oven. yum.

Popchips. Or I guess the Kettle Cooked light ones. When I eat chips, I only eat Salt + Vinegar flavored ones, and those two brands make the best 'low cal' Salt + Vinegar chips on the market, imho.
