Sugar Free Pudding and Fat Free Pretzels--160 calories

ok so mine is increadably great and awesome and i love it

Strawberry Sorbetto

ingredients:

1 1/2 cups of frozen strawberries

2 packets of no calorie sweetener

(optional) 1/4 cup of hot water (to make blending easier)

directions:

combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until fairly smooth

Voila, a sweet, light sorbetto sure to conquer any sweet craving for only 65 calories

(actually you could do this with just about any frozen fruit)

!/2 to 3/4 cup canned pumpkin, heat for 1:20 seconds. Take out, add splenda, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, 1 tsp sf maple syrup and stir. Then top with some reddi whip. So good.

Any frozen or fresh berries with reddi whip.
I wonder if you could blend canned pumpkin with the spices and the splenda & the reddi whip to make a pumpkin smoothie? (with ice?)
Technically for me a "healthy" dessert would be fruit cause medical folks have told me that fake sweeteners are not a good choice.  I wish there were lo-cal desserts that did not have fake stuff in them.  I tend to eat one little chocolate then go do something else.
poet, what recipes do you like? My Hobby is to fix recipes so people can have them, whether they need low fat, cal, no fake sugars.

I like sponge finger biscuits - 35 cal each sipped in hot cocoa

But in terms of ideas, get tinned pie fruit (apricot, peaches, apples) and a ltitle cinnamon, heat in the mcirwaove and top with granoa. Very yummy.

If you dont want sugar free jello, buy your own agar agar or gelatine and use apple-juice concentrate or natural sweeteners to make your jelly. Add fruit for a nice treat.

Usuing a small amount of sugar isnt bad either. 1 tsp is only 10 cal more than a sweetener, and sometimes you only need 1tsp to top things

Try a micorwave baked apple. Very healthy, yummy and low cal.

I second that!  I live in a dorm, and I developed the most delicious apple/pumpkin recipe ever.  I swear, it's better than pie.  ;)

1 granny smith apple, chopped into little apple-pie-sized pieces

1/4 cup canned pumpkin

Sugar/sugar substitute

Pumpkin pie spice/cinnimon/nutmeg/whatever

In a microwavable dish, sprinkle a layer of sugar and spices, then about half the apple, sprinkle another layer of sugar and spices, then spread the pumpkin on top, another layer of sugar, the rest of the apples, and top with... a little more of the sugar.  ;)  Then I add about 10 spoonfulls of water, and microwave for 1 minute.  Stir, microwave for another minute, stir, then microwave one last time for 1 minute.

It's amazing.  ;)

We don't have dessert very often, but when we do I like to make up a packet of butterscotch or french vanilla instant pudding using 2-1/2 cups of fat-free milk to make it a bit less sweet... then I divide it into four and add canned fruit in extra-light syrup, or better yet, fresh berries.

best thing in the world

luigi's no sugar added lemon water ice 60 calories :D

Havent tried Luigi's but remember seeing their regular Italian Ice which looked identical to what I grew up with as a kid.

40cal Sugarfree Fudgesicles - I normally wouldnt go for low cal ice cream (FAKE!) but wow, they really pull these off!

70-90 cal Kozyshack Sugarfree Tapioca, Rice Pudding or Apple AlaMode (also a custard).  Especially the tapioca, Ive actually stopped buying them because even though they are great - I was liking them too much :D.

Also SugarFree vanilla pudding with 2 T. of canned pumpkin, a splenda and pumpkin pie spice.  Amazing too!

And just to reiterate the original thought "Low Calorie Desserts!!!!!! YAY!!!!"  Exactly!

Wish we had canned pumpkin here. I'll just save some leftovers from my next roast.

Tonight I'm making a chocolate dessert in the microwave.

3 tbs organ egg replacer
6 tbsp sugar
2.5 tbsp dutch cocoa
1/1/4 c milk or water

In a saucepan mix the replacer sugar and cocoa. Gradually stif in the lquid until smooth. Heat over medium, stirring until boiling and smooth and thick. For chocolate pudding mix into glass dishes and allow to cool and set.
I love you people!  I am a partial Luddite- meaning I don't have a microwave.  I do have a steamer and have used that in place of a microwave.  I would have a wood cookstove if I could- lungs can't handle the smoke now plus I live in town.  I don't have canned pumpkin but I do have three real pumpkins in the cool laundry room- have a washer and no dryer.  Do have a clothes drying rack.  Also have a solar panel plus regulation electrical panel.  I know.  I am a difficult person.  I also wish I could have three hens.  This town would first stone me then put a lien on our property if I did.  I love this post.  Oh- tofu blended up with a bit of honey and fruit is fantastic and either a pudding or an ice cream if you freeze it.  Peaches are good for this.
I love deserts mmmm but usually during the week while im working I dont eat anything like that, but now im treating myself im making apple banana bread puding (low fat not sugar added)

4 slice of bread (Whole W)

3 oz skim milk

1 egg white

1/2 banana 1/2 apple cut it

2 TBSP raisins

cinnamon, egg nut, vanilla

2 sweet N low (instead of sugar)

mmmmmm can't wait to take it out of the oven.....

Berries and vanilla custard sauce:

One large egg
1/3 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 cups 1-percent low fat milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 cups quartered small strawberries (or berries of your choice)

Beat egg in a medium bowl until frothy. Combine sugar and cornstarch in a small, heavy saucepan. Stir in milk; heat over medium-high heat to 180-degrees or until tiny bubbles form around edge (do not boil). Gradually add hot milk to eggs, stirring constantly with a whisk. Return mixture to pan. Cook over medium heat until thick, stirring constantly (do not boil). Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Cover and chill. Serve over berries.

Serving size: 1/3-cup sauce and 2/3-cup strawberries. Calories per serving: 132

This is also really good if you add a little bit of rum extract/flavoring to the sauce, and you can add 1/4 cup of Kashi Go Lean crunch for some crunch (and only 47 extra cals).

Someone up there looking for a "natural" sweet treat:

Sliced apples drizzled with honey and sprinkled with cinnamon. It's amazing how good it is.

If you really wanna be natural - try locally farmed honey.

Easy easy easy!

1 cup    splenda
1 cup    water
1 cup    buttermilk
3 cups  stawberries

Disolve splenda in water.  Blender buttermilk with strawberries. Blender in splenda water.  I find it easiest to divide into 4 servings first and then freeze.

120 of the greatest calories - a cross between italian ice and sorbet.  My own daughter eats this and she doesnt touch diet anything.  You could even do it in eigths for 60 cal (not that you couldnt do the math LOL).

Also a really nice size serving, more then double the size of a pudding cup and you could make 8 60 cal servings (not that you couldnt do the math LOL).  I usually let it defrost a bit before eating to be slushy.  Also walmart sells 3 cup bags of their brand frozen strawberries

i just posted about glenny's 100 calorie brownie and then i saw this thread.

they're really delicious!

I just love a baked apple, drizzled with honey or (in my case) calorie-free Walden Farms caramel dip.

=^..^= MOLLY

This isn't really a dessert for most I'm sure, but it is for me!

I take a cup of nonfat milk, stir in some strawberry preserves, then microwave until its really hot and frothy!  Stir a couple times in between though!

It's VERY yummy! Especially if you were one that used to LOVE those flavored milks!
Slice a banana in half lengthwise, sprinkle a tsp of sugar on the cut part and take a torch to it to brulee the sugar. The sugar caramelizes to make that crunchy creme brulee-type yummeh goodness, but instead of custard you're having a healthy banana. This is excellent with low fat vanilla fro yo.

If you don't have a torch, you can place the bananas on a baking sheet and place them under the broiler on the top rack. Just make sure and watch it the entire time (like 30 seconds) until the sugar melts and browns.

You can also do this with banana "coins" (1/4" slices) for parties. Someone told me they loved me once after tasting it. :)

Oh, btw, if you can get them, those tiny Chilean bananas are really nice for this. With a regular small banana, it's ~60 cals for half a banana + sugar.
