Salad are pretty low in calories, but you really got to limit what to put on it, especially with the dressings
Haha I love salads with some sliced carrots and the tomato bits are what is delicious. I don't put dressings on my salad EVER. I was never really a dressing type of guy and plus it adds extra calories so why bother? If I get a salad what kind of meat could I put in it thats low calorie.
you can cook chicken or turkey breast in a little bit of olive oil. Or you could buy the precooked stuff and follow the serving size. Or you could buy low sodium lunch meat like from Boar's head. I loved their cracked pepper mill turkey. That's what i usually put on my salad. I also like sharp cheeses like gorgonzola to give it a bite and some flavor if i'm not using dressing.

there are a bunch! grilled skinless chicken breast, turkey breast, ground turkey, thin slices of some very lean beef, hard boiled egg, lots and lots of options! sometimes i put a little taco seasoning in ground turkey, put that on a salad with some salsa and a dab of light sour cream or fage yogurt (my fave low cal sour cream substitute.) you could even throw a few baked tostitos on the side if you have the calories to spare! add whatever other vegetables you want also! yum!
A simple stir-fry is a good way to start.
150g (about 3/4 cup) brown rice (you can cook it yourself but mine never comes out right so I buy the frozen pre-cooked brown rice from TJs)
2 cups fresh or frozen stir fry veggies cooked in 1 tsp olive oil
4 oz chicken breast/turkey/salmon cooked in 1 tsp olive oil
I add a little garlic, onion, cajun seasoning to taste

Just type "low calorie recipes" into a search bar and you will come up with tons of low-cal recipes. You just have to watch the serving sizes.
I had a surprisingly tasty dinner tonight. My boyfriend and I wanted something quick, so we made little pizzas out of pitas. One pita split in two made two pizzas. For each pizza I used 2 tbsp sauce, maybe 1/4 cup of cheese, and veggies to top. I also cut up one turkey meatball and put it on one. It was really tasty and not too bad on calories, either :)
386 Calories to be exact. :) And thats for two of the pizzas. It was really filling too!
EDIT: Added calorie total

Grilled boca burger (80-90 cal per burger) with steamed veggies as a side. Use ketchup (small spoonful) to make the burger taste delicious and sprinkle some seasonings on the veggies. 10 calorie fat-free, sugar-free jello as dessert. Total calories probably not more than 300.
Tacos made with super lean turkey meat. I use the Old El Paso kit and per 2 taco shells it is 130 calories for the shells/sauce/seasoning, add 0.25 lb lean ground turkey (150 calories), and veggies as a topping (lettuce, tomato, peppers, no cheese). I usually eat 3 shells with about 1/4 lb meat which is total of about 400 calories (be careful though as 12 shells come in kit so keep your portions not too big).
Spinach rollos: Roll thin lean chicken breast around fresh spinach. Roll one slice of deli ham around that, then one small slice of lowfat cheese around that. Cook in casserole dish with campbell's chicken or mushroom soup (low fat, low sodium), lightly diluted with water. Serve with stemaed asparagus. I cannot remember the calories in this but I eat 1 rollos and I know it's SUPER low also (300 calories maybe) and you can make it lower by omitting the cheese.

my favorite meal right now is a veggie burger with a green tea soy latte:
gardenburger patty (90 cal) + sesame buns (110 cals) + fat free kraft american cheese single (25 cal) = 225 cal
2 tsp green tea powder + vanilla light soy milk (80 cal/cup) + 1 tsp sugar (15 cal) = 95 cals
keeps you full for a really long time too!
