1/2 cup cottage cheese

1 serving of SF jello

I suppose that would be a dessert.

-1 cup of grapes, apples or strawberries w/ 1/2-1 cup yogurt.

-15 Almonds is lil over 100cals.

-1/2-1 cup Sugar Free Pudding, I like the caramel/butterscotch kind a lot.

-10 Baby carrots and 1/4 cup Hummus

-1 Apple or other fruit w/ tablespoon peanut butter

-1/2 cup frozen yogurt, you can add fresh berries too yum.

-Veggies (bell peppers, broccoli, etc) w/ light ranch.

-100 cal popcorn bag (or portion out from a larger bag)

-Salad w/ darker lettuce (more nutrition if you like it), light ranch mixed w/ salsa

-Stir Fry, any veggies you like fried in 1 teaspoon olive oil or spray, make sure and add some spices like garlic and other ones you like.  You can also add tofu or a few pieces of chicken and it is low cal.  ::edit to add::  Try putting fresh ginger in your stir fry.  You don't need lots of oil and noodles/rice to make it taste very good.

Pretty much any fruits and veggies you like are great as snacks.  Fill you up on low calories and they are great for you

thanx these are really good ive been wanting to try cottage cheese for a while it sounds good. i already do the apples nd PB amazing!!

  1. - Apple Cider Oats - 1 packet of apple cider drink mix.. preferably no sugar added = 15 or so calories + 1/3 cup or 1/2 cup of oatmeal = Deliiish and only around 115-165 calories
  2. - Canned spinach, diced tomatoes, and green beans = 100-120 calories and pretty yummy.
  3. - Yocrunch light yogurts (120 calories)
  4. - Egg White Sammich - 2 egg whites microwaved for 1.5 minutes, and either both slices of whole wheat/grain bread or one toasted one untoasted (so yummy either way!) = 145-155 calories. (I eat this every morning for breakfast!)
  5. - Folded cheese n' mustard sammich - 1 slice of whole wheat bread, 1 slice of cheese, 1 tsp of mustard, and 1 large lettuce leaf = 130-140 calories.
  6. - Bowl o' beans or lentils w/ spice of your choice (I like italian spices!) = 80-160 calories.
  7. - Broccoli and cheese = 2 cups of chopped raw broccoli and a slice of cheese.. Steam the broccoli in the microwave for 2 minutes, and put the slice of cheese on top in the last 30 seconds = 120 calories
  8. -  Cereal! Any! One serving is of many cereals are under 150 calories. I personally love cheerios, fiber one, froot loops, kashi, and shredded wheat.
  9. - Frozen fruit. Bananas & grapes are my favorite. For a frozen banana, cut them in half, put a little peanut butter on it, and freeze it on a stick. Grapes you can just throw in a bowl and leave it there over night. Calories will range depending on how much you want.

There are many other forum topics with lengthy lists of low-cal foods. You should search through the older forums to find some excellent ideas.

well i just had BOCA CHILI.  150cals 1gm fat 12fiber 20g protien (650 sodium)

but when i bought it i was thinking it would be more than one container bc it seemed low enough calorie but it was one big one.  i was suprised, quite filling! i added 4 diced baby carrots (20 cals) and less then half a pepper diced (15 cals)  ttl - 185 cals for dinner w/o the added veggie it was still 150!!
