substitute turkey for beef
| 6 | bell peppers |
| 1 | pound lean ground turkey |
| 1 | clove garlic |
| 1/4 | cup onion |
| 1 | carrot |
| 28 | oz canned tomatoes |
| 1 | cup cooked brown rice |
| 1 | T brown sugar |
| 1/4 | t basil |
- Clean peppers. Boil for 4 minutes. Rinse in cold water.
- Cook turkey, garlic, onions and carrots until tender.
- Add the tomatoes, rice, brown sugar and basil. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until the rice is tender.
- Stuff the peppers. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 350 F.
