Low Calorie Toppings For Baked Potatoes

Quote  |  Reply

Does anyone have any low calorie topping options for a baked potato? I find them very dry without loads of butter and but since they are a much better option than fries when eating out, I am willing to give them a try.

So what can I put on a baked potato that is low calorie and make them so they are not so dry?

i personally slather everything in ketchup (yes i'm weird!)

Whats so weird about that?? I love ketchup too. But since I have started to watch my sodium intake, I have started to limit how much ketchup I eat, I miss the good ol'days when I could use as much ketchup as I wanted. Cry

Extra virgin olive oil, not that low fat, but one Tbsp (120 cal) should do it and it's a very healthy fat. Add garlic powder, chives and/or parsley, salt, yummy! If you like it, also balsamic vinegar.

I like to blend some cottage cheese with a little garlic and green onion on mine. I also do it on sweet potatoes.

Yum, I eat a baked sweet potato topped with cottage cheese almost everyday. I love it. Sometimes I add tomatoes, olives and Jalapeños.
