Ive started the South Beach Diet, mainly I'm looking for a basic low carb, goods with low glycemic index kind of eating pattern. Anyway, I've done really well and lost 5+ pounds so far, We were ordering from our local Mexican Restaurant and I was online looking for an alternative to tortilla chips.
One of the posters said he liked, red cabbage triangles. You just take the red (or is it purple) cabbage and cut it into triangle scoop shapes. I had one in my fridge so I gave it a try, it worked really really well!
Oh i ate too much guacamole and too much cheese dip but I didn't feel deprived or left out while everyone was grubbing on El Mexcal food. I think it saved me 400+ calories and my dignity.
Any more tips or tricks to keeping it low carb and healthy?
