Low-Fat Brownies (Jill's) Recipe

Jill's Low-fat Brownies

Ingredients
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup baking cocoa
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup Splenda
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup applesauce
4 large egg whites
2 teaspoons vanilla
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350.

  2. Spray 8" square baking pan with cooking spray.

  3. In small bowl combine flour, cocoa and baking powder.

  4. In medium bowl stir together Splenda, brown sugar and applesauce.

  5. Add egg whites and vanilla.

  6. Gradually stir in cocoa mixture until blended.

  7. Pour into prepared pan and bake 15 to 20 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan.

  8. Sprinkle with confectioner's sugar (optional).
