This group is my effort to get support from everyone and get everyone that needs suppoort to help each other. So everyone thats in this boat thats around the 200s and is aiming to get down to the mid 100s (135-155) or less. Monday morning will be the group's official weigh in so that we can talk about progress and give support if people are having problems and not losing as much as they would like.

hello everyone,

I lost 2lb this week, so i am happy that i am back on track. I have been eating better but still have a few little chocolate treats from easter. I am only 1lb away from my mini-goal of losing 10% of my start weight (21 lb). i hoping to get there by next monday.

My husband is setting up a weight training bench in the garage so i am hoping he will show me how to include some strengh training into my exercise. At the moment i have an excercise DVD that i do twice a week and i walk about 2 miles 3 x per week.

Hi all! I am a 25 year old married mother of two. I am currently at 209. I was pushing 250 when I started this whole weight loss journey last year in April. So, here I am, I would like to get between 145 and 155. I started the calorie counting last week and work with a personal trainer twice a week and in between I do 45-60 minutes of cardio. So, total about 4-5 days of exercise a week. :-) I just need the major motivation and support as I have a million questions. I look forward to meeting my goal with you all.

Well my last weigh in was 208.6 and I weighed in today and was 206.8!! I am happy with that! I would like to be below 200 by the end of April!!

this week: 198.2

so I have lost a total of 1lb over the last few weeks, which I am suprised due to me taking a break from counting calories.

I gained a lb this week, but I'm not going to let it get me down.  I will keep working at it and soon the weight will be coming off again.

I went from 194.0 to 196.6 and yesterday 195.6...not happy...hoping it is TOM, but who knows.

I really want Chocolate cake!  amd I don't LIKE cake!

this morning I was down to 194.5.  Glad that the extra pounds I "gained" are leaving, but I lost an entire week of weight loss.  My "month" is up on the 5th and I was supposed to be at 192.  Until this happened, it really looked like I would make goal.  Now, it seems impossible.  Still not sure why I had those pounds on me...

Yay!!  I think a LOT of it was losing water weight since I am a big Diet Coke fan and have switched to water, but hey, I will take ANY loss I can get! yay!

OK..I'm in, I'm 46 and @ 195 lbs and 5'7" I want (need) to loose about 50 lbs. I started on Saturday w/1200 cals so hopefully I will start seeing some changes.

loosing some of the weight I gained...not sure what THAT was about.  I hurt my foot so haven't been working out.  I think it is ready for me to start again.  I can start slow...something is better than nothing right? 

I did give in to the chocolate cake I was craving...the first few bites were great, but I felt really sick after...but the 400 calories or so were still better than eating around a craving KWIM?  I don't really like cake so it was weird...

 

since i started on February 4th I have lost a total of 7.6 lbs and 4.5 inches from my waist, 3 inches from my tummy, 1.8 inches off my hips and 1 inch off my arms.  I haven't lost a lot a weight but I have lost a lot of fat.  I am going to get my husband to take pictures again so I can do a 2 month update.  I wish the weight would come off better.  Oh well, as long as the fat keeps going that's good.  I started at 221 and I am now at 213.4.  My mini goal was to be about 200 by my birthday.  I am working extra hard right now but I don't think I am going to reach it.  My birthday is in 2 weeks.  There is no way I am going to lose 13 lbs in 2 weeks.  I am averaging 1.5 a week.

ok friends...I need some officiall butt kicking!

We are starting "biggest Loser" at work...weigh in is Monday.  After getting over the shame of letting them know how much I weigh (as if they can't guess) I need to at least lose SOMETHING at every weigh in...aaaahhhh.

I need this motivation...

You can do ANYTHING you put your mind to!! Just remember that!! You will do great!!

thanks shannon...I figure if they know (at least the team captain) that I weight as much as I do, I will really want them to see that number drop.  Upping the work out and going to try to hit the 2 lb a week mark.  It is for 6 weeks...then I will slow down a bit and go back to 1 lb a week.  That jump start before summer will be a nice touch too!

Hi, everyone! I have not posted in a couple of weeks, so much to tell.

First, I had a really weird weigh in a couple of weeks ago. My goal that week was 203.6, but I weighed in at 205.0 on Friday, March 28th. I was a bit discouraged, but I put my nose to the grindstone and pushed hard. By Sunday, the scale said 206.6 (super weird) and I was somehow heading in the wrong direction. Oddly enough, on Monday I was at 204.0, then 204.6 on Wednesday... I was getting really nervous so I altered my weight loss goal from the original 201.1 to 202.5 due to not hitting my 203.6 target.

Friday came and I hopped on the scale to see 201.8!! While that was .7 above my original goal, it was .7 below my adjusted goal:-). I am now comfortably fitting size 14 from size 18 when I started on February 1st. Starting weight, 223.6 to current weight of 201.8. My goal this week is 200... but I would be REALLY psyched if I can get below. It would be the first time in about four years that I will be below 200 pounds.

I tell you, it feels so good to finally weigh less than my husband. People are starting to notice, and while that is great, the best part of all is being able to shop in my own closet. I have clothes in there that I have not worn in years because I was too large. Stay focused, everyone, you can do it!

Sheri, I had a week last week like that too...I gained 3 lbs over night...took a while to loose it...finally did and now need to loose real weight again...

last week: 198.2

this week: 196.2

 

That means a loss of 2lbs this week. yay!
