From low 200's trying to get to the mid 100's (145-155) anyone wanna do it with me (FEMALE)
last week 190 lb this week 189 lb. Thats 21 lb since i started in january, and 10% of my start weight, so i hit my mini goal!!! yay!!
So now i am aiming for my next mini goal, which is 174 lb, i.e no longer obese (hate that word !!) but for now can have a mini celebration, might go out for pizza next weekend if i keep under my cals during the week. (and i treated myself to some new undies)

I hate the word 'obese' also. I hate BEING obese even more!!!! LOL Won't it be great when people start referring to us as 'slim' instead!!!
being refered to as slim...I can't wait! As I mentioned we are doing the biggest loser at work. They made a woman's team...of the 3 women on my team, 2 of us are large...I am 192 and she is 209...so, we have the most to loose...one of the guys, not in a bad way at all, pointed this out...even though I know it to be true and that we do have an unfair advantage due to it...I did bother me...I guess I still don't want to admit that I am as big as I am and that people KNOW I am this big...I know this doesn't make a lot of sense, but still...
Oh well...I won't be for long, right?
Monday weigh in, i didnt lose any this week. i went up 1lb and then back down again. I have been sticking to the planned calories and i excerised 5 days out of 7. So this week i am trying to increase the intensity by adding intervals of 1 minute jogs into my walks. I started this morning, i probalbly have not run since i left school (like 20 years ago!!), apart from the odd burst of energy when i am late for a bus. So this was quite an acheivement for me! I am hoping to build up to running for a full 20 minutes, and then maybe 30. small steps but hopefully i will start to lose again.
I actually lost 3 this week! I even had pizza and ice cream yesterday (a FULL cup even) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Has anyone done it? My next door neighbor said she has lost 75 pounds from it and kept it off for like 2 years. I saw her before pictures and she looks amazing! Anyways, I looked at the information she had and really feel like this is something I can do so I ordered it, but my question is with the working out. I do a boot camp 3 days a week, 1 hour each time. I really enjoy it and don't want to quit the work out, but someone told me that I should not work out hard on that program.. which makes NO SENSE TO ME.. as long as I get my calories, right? Any advice anyone? Thanks!!
I have a friend on this program. You DO work out hard on it...you just eat a bit more complex carbs. She has lost 40 lbs...so far. She did great for 2 months...lost the weight. Then took about 3 month off...she did work out, but didn't eat the program...she didn't gain more than 5-8 lbs back. On this plan, you can't have dairy, you can't have wine or alcohol, or salt or sugar. you need to eat certain foods every few hours. If you can handle this restriction, you WILL loose weight.

Good Luck Shannon, I know my friend loves it. Many here may fuss at you, since you do have low calories, but it is very balanced and does have you eat more when you work out. Let us know how it goes! She finds the online support to be amazing! She even flew to CA to hang with a group of them! We all need to find what works for us and as long as it is healthy...do it and ignore the opinions of others!

Thanks Kae! Yea I know to be sure to eat more when I work out more.. otherwise I am just wasting my time and it won't do me any good!! I have learned that lesson the hard way! Thanks for the support I will keep you updated.. i haven't recieved it yet so I probably wont start for another couple of weeks.
Monday weigh in (day late)
205 - I have lost a pound over the last couple of weeks.. but I have lost 10 in all so I am happy with that!!
basically just bumping this up. Biggest Loser at work is going well. Today is the first day that I didn't loose something (no we don't weigh in everyday, but I do anyway) I wonder if that had anythig to do with the pasta AND ice cream I had last night...NAH...that can't be it :-) I totally love how that is actually ok. I measured everything and was within calories. I think it was more tha pasta then the ice cream. My body doesn't respond well to pasta. But my DD who just recoved from strep asked for it so what could I do????
I am soooo psyched. For the first time in four years I am under 200 pounds- 199.2 as of this morning. I am also starting to fit into 12's and cannot believe it! My official weigh-in date for this week is Friday, but I weigh myself Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for trend purposes. I am soooooo excited!!!!

yay! i don't really weight myself often...but i'll update when i get some big news. i'm on the same mission as you all...i'm like 5ft tall, so i should be 135-145 (at most, but i am curvy as hell so i will forgive myself if i'm not 115, couldn't even picture it).
i'm counting cals and exercise 6days a week (cardio + weights). i go hiking or walk along the beach on the weekends, my favs!
but yeah, let's do this...congrats to everyone who keeps losing, i read your posts!

It is a perfect spring day where I live today. Is it where you are? I have a meeting tonight so I don't think I can get out to enjoy it...sad. I may get a short walk in at least before I leave for it but that's it.
Are any of you going to be able to get outside?
Yes i went for a walk this evening, i went through the park in the nearby town and there were lots of tulips and daffodils in flower. I went out in the woods yesterday and the bluebells are in flower too, i love this time of year.
ahh yes it's getting nice and HOT over here! i'm just so busy right now it sucks cuz i'm definitely cooped up in the office. i work out in the gym mornings, then at night i pretty much veg. but this weekend...i definitely want to get outside!!! as long as the sun is out, i will be out :)
