HELP!!!!!

I've not been on for a few weeks and i'm so sick of being on a "life style change" (as i like to call it ) for a year now, so i decided to relax on my self a little and though i've only gained a pound i have gained 2inch round my waist 1inch onto my hips and 1inch onto my legs (thigh).  it feels like i'm going to struggle with this forever.

So now i need a little support on getting back on track please, any advice for me??????

God jst think if i never took those few weeks out then i could be on here saying yipee i've lost another few inch and pounds but i'm not.  God i could kick myself.xxx

Morgi xx, You, have done really well for a year, keeping up healthy eating habits long term is hard. I have only been here for 4 months and somedays i struggle and just want a diet holiday. I am trying to hold off for as long as i can. But, now you are giving it another go, just take each day at a time. Try to focus on the positives and how far you have come already.

Also, i find zigzaging my calories helps, so i am trying to average 1500 per day so during the week i have maybe 1350-1550, then i can have 1800 on staurday. That way i can satisfy a craving or 2 on saturday, helps me from falling off the wagon., good luck!

monday weight in...so how is it going?  I was doing great ALL WEEK... HATE weekends...but those wings on my date with my husband and the burger at Chili's bloated me up.   I had the calorie for both, so I know it isn't real, but...

I am still down a bit so that's ok.  I am 189 today...I was 188 on Saturday though.

Thrilled to be in the 180's though...

Started 202 on Feb 5th so I am actually quite happy

Last Week :194.6

this week: 192.4

that's a loss of 2.2 lbs, which is suprising after binging on pizza & fries on friday night!

Starting Weight - 215

Last Week - 205

This Week - 203

Lost 2 pounds .. yay!!

Weighed in today, i lost 2 lb, down to 187. Thats good as didnt lose last week, i think it must have been water.

what was this doing on page 6??????

can we still call it a plateau when we aren't loosing weight cause we are eating like we have no weight to loose...has NOT been the best few days...

Hey I am a 27 year old female started yesterday at 225 my goal is 148 (high end of healthy BMI) I am in!

you can totally do that!  Welcome!

Oh My Goodness everyone I could really use some words of encouragement!!! I dont know what hapenned to me but I havent been on here in two months I have been so caught up in school work and clubs and things  and along with that I've gained weight not just stayed the same I've gained. So now I really really really want to lose the weight so i can enjoy my summer and feel healthy, I just feel so bloated I was thinking about like a one week fast or detox just to get all the bad sugars and foods out of my system. If you guys have some suggestions or words of encouragement pleaase I'd love some.

Jeanus,

I wouldn't do a fast, but I would eat clean for a week...no sugar, low fat, lots of veggies.  It happens to all of us...no worries.

amanda11w,  Thanks for your kind words i really appreciate them, think i am just a bit board thats all, i'm sure i'll get back into it, infact i've been quite good this week (just 1 or 2 little slip ups).

I think i might try and zigzag for a bit,  Thanks xxxx

Hi Jeanus, welcome back!! i was wondering what had happened to you, as you started the post but i havnt seen you post for a while. Dont worry about gaining, just treat this as a new start.

Thanks for starting the post, i have found it helps to keep me on track. The monday weigh ins are good for my motivation, and if i have not done so well i use it as a confessional LOL!

Monday weigh in.... lost 1lb this week, 24 down 30 to go.

I have been tring on my summer wardrobe. Last years clothes fit but are slightly loose, by the time it is warm enough to wear them they will be hanging off. the previous years are too tight! I hope they will fit this summer.

I have my monthly bloat so I am "up" a lb...since I was up 3 lbs last month...maybe I lost??? :-)  we will know soon enough.

I haven't posted for awhile, keeping up on my workouts although I did a have couple week lul.  I've met with a personal trainer 2x, and tonight will be my 3rd visit.  Workedout on the treadmill this morning for 1/2 hr run 4.4 mph/walk 3.4 mph.  I'll do Zumba after my strength workout tonight.  I had weighed in at 224, now my home scale is reading 229.  The gym weighs me in at 234 (with shoes and gym clothes on).  So the gym scale will be my new official scale.

I just dont seem to be making any progress.  Alli, the winner from Biggest Loser has really motivated me, and is why I am working out more.  The BL people workout 6 - 8 hours a day....I can't fit in that kind of workout, but I can workout in the morning, lunchtime and evenings...my goal is to go for 1 1/2 - 2 hours with consistency.   My workouts:  lap swimming, biking, resistance training and the assortmant of fitness machines at the gym (ellipiticals, treadmills, stairs...).

My mom died at age 49,  I always vowed that I would take care of myself so I could be around for those that I love.  Hmmm, trouble is I eat for all of the wrong reasons and don't stay consistent with my workouts.  So, here I am, the countdown to age 49 is a mere 6 mos away and I am 80 pounds overweight.  How is that for some humble pie (low fat of course).

Since I can swim, bike and run (eventually)...I am going to sign up for a beginner's triathlon, there is one in Springfield, Missouri this August that sounds very doable.

I am long-winded today!

Di

monday weigh in, lost 2lb this week, which is suprising as i have not been "good", had my worst average clories for the week since i started.

I went to a hen party on saturday. We paid in advance and had a 3 course meal and unlimited drinks. Since starting this diet in Jan i have no more than 2-3 glasses of wine over a weekend, so my body did not know what had hit it after a few glasses of wine and 3-4 gin and slimline tonics. I was fine on saturday and had a great night, but yesterday i felt so ill. I didnt eat anything until the eveining and then had bad things including chicken burger, fries and 6 choc biscuits with full sugar coke.  This week i will have to be good, as next week i am going to a conference in Scotland. staying in a hotel that serves full scotch breakfast, for 5 nights. of couse i will try to eat cereal and fruit some days, but i will allow myself a fry up 1-2 days.

I balanced out...still 188.  I have been going up and down this week.  It is the week before TTOM so my not gaining actually encourages me.  We shall see what the next 10 days does.
