From low 200's trying to get to the mid 100's (145-155) anyone wanna do it with me (FEMALE)
This weekend has been such a busy one. I didnt do any "exercise" per se, but I was dancing my heart out and running up and down stairs for the main part of the last two days!
I'm feeling really good. I love this feeling!
I just am pushing myself to remember that, just because I lost a couple lbs, it means I get to slack off!
I look forward to the next Biggest Loser show. I always work out during that show, and I get about 2 hours of exercise on every Tuesday!
happy Monday. I haven'y weighed myself yet, but will soon. I did just finish my work out. I think I finally got the moves figured out. I thought I would be on the learn part forever :-) Tomorrow I can now start the beginner workout and then stay with that this week and move on to the more intense ones after that. Granted, I could jump right into the harder ones, but they recommend not to and I don't want to get discouraged and give up AGAIN...I think it is better to work out less but always then a lot for 2 day :-0
How was everyone's weekend? I find that I tend to only eat 3 meals...and not my usual snacks on the weekend. I am just not home to have snacks. My calorie are ok...not huge deficit, but a deficit both days so that' ok right????
Looking forward to hear from you all
ok...I weighed in. I am still 199. yesterday I was 198 so I am loosing...I tend to drop "gain" and then drop and stay there and repeat. So even though today it looks like no loss I think I do have one KWIM? I KNOW i didn't eat an extra 3500 calories yesterday!
I have't seen 200 for a couple of days! That is a huge success!
Good Monday morning, hope everyone is doing fine, feeling good.
Since starting in January the weekends proved to be the biggest challenge to keeping the train on track. I think, perhaps, maybe that is no longer the case...lost 1lb now 192 from 210.
Hey kae03 saying see ya to 200 is a huge success, way to go.
Monday weigh-in:
Height: 5' 7"
Starting Weight: 399 lbs (okay.... might as well say 400)
Goal Weight: 145 lbs
Mini Goal: 199 lbs (break the 200 barrier)
Last Week: 208 lbs
Current Weight: 204 lbs
Weight Lost This Week: 4 lbs
Weight Remaining Until Goal: 59 lbs (how much does loose skin weigh?)
Monday weigh-in:
Height: 5' 9"
Starting Weight: 208 lbs
Goal Weight: 140 lbs
Mini Goal: 180 lbs
Last Week: 198 lbs
Current Weight: 196 lbs
Weight Lost This Week: 2 lbs
Weight Remaining Until Goal: 56 lbs
A little frustrating because at one point last week I weighed at 194, I'm not going to count that one though since my last "official" weigh-in was at 198.
I would LOVE to loose 4 lbs this week as I have a concert to go to this weekend with some friends! We'll see.
moday weigh in
Height : 5' 8"
starting weight: 217lbs
goal weight: 145
last week: 204.6lbs
this week: 203lbs
weight loss this week: 1.6lbs
only 58lbs to go!
Hi...I don't have a lot of wiggle room for a snack tonight. I have eaten about 1350 calorie, burned or will burn tongiht just over 2000...I want at least a 5000 deficit...I find though that I can't eat less than 1300-1400 and not suffer. Once I start burning more with my work out that will help a lot. Right now with learning it I am listing it a 15 minutes of light aerobics. It take longer but it is basically learning the moves and doing each one a bout 5 times...so...may have some popcorn tonight. I use the 0 cal spray butter. It is actually really good!
Hi! How is everyone doing today? Staying on track? I am just sitting down to eat my weight watchers meal. Does anyone else eat these? I know they are packed with sodium but I drink a ton of water so hopefully that will flush a lot of it out. I didn't have much time for breakfast this morning, so I grabbed a slim fast shake on the way out the door. Anyone eat/drink these?? I had an orange for a snack mid-morning. I did cardio this morning, only for 30 mins since I have my hour long class tonight.
Where's everyone else?? Lets keep this thread going so we can all help eachother.

Hello all and good afternoon,
I didnt get to do my weigh-in yesterday. I'll make it next time though.
I, for one, have a fear of scales. This is probably why I gained so much weight without even thinking about it! I bought a scale recently and have been using it sparingly (at most every 2 weeks). Would anyone have a problem with me doing the weigh-in biweekly? It's just something I am more comfortable with.
Last night, I walked a good strong walk for 45 minutes. The feel of the sweat made me very happy (gross I know, but still). I hope everyone is having a great day!
Hi Dougla!
I don't think anyone would have a problem with you doing the weigh-in biweekly, whatever works for you!
Good job on your long walk last night!

Hi, deko4. I confess to the occassional frozen low-cal meal and the occasional 'meal' shake. You are right about them being loaded with sodium! YIKES!
I especially rely on these when I have major cravings. If I crave Chinese food, which is REALLY BAD for you, I'll have a frozen meal instead (I love Lean Cuisine's Sesame Chicken and Weight Watcher's Sweet and Sour Chicken). If I know there's going to be a pizza party at work, I'll bring in a Lean Cuisine frozen pizza (around 320 calories) and pop it in the microwave. These frozen meals really do the trick to help me with my cravings. However, when I do have one of these meals, I try really hard to get in my fresh fruits and veggies and extra water.
How about the Weight Watcher's frozen desserts?!!! YUM!
oh, yes! The desserts!
I have some of the weight watchers cheesecakes in my freezer at home right now. I don't have them too often, but a special treat once in a while.......yummy!! I usually try to have a sugar free jello cup or a low cal/sugar free pudding cup for my dessert instead.
HA! I know, they are expensive!
But I guess a lot cheaper than me going out to lunch all the time like I used to.
Original Post by kae03:
Doctor actually recommended the frozen dinners to me. She said that the sodium is a bit high, but if the rest of your diet is full of it, they are fine and really help with portion control. It is cash control that stops me from getting them more often...It is cheaper to be fat!
The doctor is right on about the portion control! It's amazing when you compare, for example, one of the spaghetti meals with what you might normally have eaten. I don't know about you, but before I started eating right, I could easily eat a giant plate full of spaghetti. Compare that to the portion given to you in a WW or LC meal and WOW! What a difference! But ya' know what? I find that the small (normal/healthy) portion, along with a side salad and a tall glass of water is quite filling!
One thing these meals have taught me is what a true 'portion' looks like.
Good point! Thanks for sharing, kae03.
F.Y.I. -- My doctor wants me to stay away from them completely but that's only because I have one kidney and have to be extremely careful of my sodium intake. But.... I'm kind of bad and don't always do what the doc says!
Will I lose weight if I eat the same food over and over?
You can lose weight despite eating the same food day-after-day as long as you eat fewer calories than you burn. In fact, eating the... Read more
