So everyone thats in this boat thats around the 200s and is aiming to get down to the mid 100s (135-155) or less. Monday morning will be the group's official weigh in so that we can talk about progress and give support if people are having problems and not losing as much as they would like.

What day are yall doing yalls weigh ins? I am getting a new scale this weekend and I want to do them to! I need some accoutablilty! I have been working out and eating right.. i need to start drinking more water I guess... i didn't realize it made that big of a difference!
mondays... but I tend to weight daily to keep track of trends.
okay thanks!

Hi guys. Well I'm back after 2 1/2 days of the stinkin flu. I still don't feel that great yet today. I haven't worked out in 2 days, and tonight I will miss my 2nd night of my body blast class. Kind of depressing. I know I haven't eaten much the last couple days and last night the only thing I could eat was mint chocolate chip ice cream, 2 huge bowls full! I also started my TOTM, so that just tops everything off! UGHHHH. I weighed in this morning just for laughs, and I was at 191lbs, 3 lbs less than Monday. It has got to be water weight, I didn't drink much water at all the last couple days. Frustrating.....

 Tracy

Tracy-I'm glad your feeling better. 3lbs on top of that! Wow! I know everyone likes to say "oh, I only lost water weight" but to me, 3lbs is still 3lbs! Also, I always retain major water during my TOTM.

Ok, so first day here and super motivated. I know it wont last, but this first days always good, right? I did some exercising and such. Kicked my backside, but I did it.

Being home is always harder than work. At work, its a 12 hour shift, so I'm limited to what I bring in my backpack to eat (Unless the Chaplin decides to bring dough nuts, then I'm SOL!). At home, its like the cabinets call my name! I feel like all I do is eat on my days off!

Speaking of which, its a day off, and I need to make some appearance of cleaning the house today (otherwise DH will have a fit!)

Hi Heather! Welcome!

This is a great place to be for motivation!

Good luck to you!

I am starting to feel better, finally. I have started drinking my water again today. Had a slimfast for breakfast, an orange for a snack, weight watchers meal for lunch. Just had a 100 cal pack of mini muffins. Trying to decide what to make for dinner. I still think I'll skip my class tonight, the energy is just not up there yet. On a happy note, I bought the hubby and I tickets to see Kenny Chesney in June! Just one more incentive to loose this weight. Along with my best friends wedding in May and my girlfriends weekend in Chicago in April. WOW!!! I gotta get loosin this FAT!!! If that 3 lbs loss is legit, that would make me down 17lbs since 1/22. Not too bad :)

 Tracy

Wow!! Good job Tracy! That is awesome!!
Hi Heather welcome!!! That is so good Tracy!!!! Good to hear you are feeling better!  kae03, I hope you are feeling better!! As for myself, I'm doing good, eating lot's of veggies and fruit, drinking lot's of water and herbal tea. I have a very active job, so I'm looking forward to hopefully seeing movement in the right direction come next Monday again!

Welcome, rdneckwife!  I'm starting this off by giving you a well-meaning kick in the tush for saying "I know it won't last."  Shame!  Tell youself that if all these other people can do it, then "this time I'm going to do it too!"

Okay, now that I kicked you, here's a welcome hug (((((HUG)))) !!!  I'm keeping my eye on you, girl!

kae03, sorry to hear that dratted flu got you.  Bummer.  It seems to have made its rounds, just ask dek04!  I hope you're able to get in some fluids even if you aren't getting your calories.

I'm setting a new challenge for myself.  Starting tomorrow morning and going through the weekend, I WILL eat more slowly and take a sip of water between every bite or two!  I need to do that all the time and not just theis weekend but I have to start somewhere!!!

kaufmkk,

I just looked at all of your pictures on your profile.  WOW..... what a fantastic transformation.  I just joined one week ago and I am finding that this site is so motivating.  I am obsessed every night logging in my meals and reading stories like yours.  I am 36 and  173 pounds.  My goal is 135/140.  I have lost about two pounds this week.  I look forward to seeing your next gallery of photos and wish you the best of luck.

Nicole

ok all, we are about to enter the weekend...can we do it...Yes we can ( quoting Bob the Builder of course :-) )

HI!!!! I am down 1 more lb today after working out this morning, first time in 3 days!!

So, as of today I am at 190!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!

I need to set a realistic goal for my best friends wedding on May 17th. Lets see, I've lost 18lbs in 6 weeks so far. Thats 3 lbs a week on average, which is incredible. 11 weeks until the wedding, lets say 2lbs a week to be safe.....so I should be able to loose 22 lbs more approx, that would put me at 168 for the wedding. I would be THRILLED with that!!!! And just by chance if I do maintain the 3 lbs a week loss, that would be 33 lbs more lost and put me at 157!!!!!!!!! So close to my overall goal!!

I have got to be good this weekend, the weekends just do me in! HAAAA Kae!!!! My son loves Bob the Builder, so for him.......CAN WE DO IT??? YES WE CAN!!! ALL OF US!!!!

Tracy

OKAY, and you know I am in a totally awesome mood when I am in my office at work, JAMMING to Bon Jovi!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOOOO HOOOO, going to see them in concert in April!!! I will be lookin HOT!!!!!

HA!!! Hope you are all having a good Friday!!

deko4, that is so wonderful!  For a fun goal, check out your BMI...see when it changes to a new category.  I have a ways to go still, I am at 196 (down 6 lbs in not quite a month) BUT when I get to 175, I change from severly overweight to moderately overweight.  Seems like a little things, but sure makes me happy.  I can't wait!

Hey Kae!! I just did the BMI test again! I have moved from moderately overweight to SLIGHTLY overweight!!! I'll take that!!!! HA!! I need to get to 178 to get to a "healthy weight". WOOHOOO!!!!

Tracy

that's great!!!!!!!!!! things like that go a long way in keeping us encouraged!
Good Luck with the weekend...that seems to be my week point also.  I feel like I fall off the wagon on the weekends.  I am the worst at drinking water on the weekends.  I will have to try very hard this weekend to stick with the 3 Liters that I have been drinking all week.  I'll let you know how that goes.
Amanda, me too with the water.  I drink it all day at work since it is right at my desk and getting more gets me AWAY from my desk!  But at home.  I can go hours without taking a sip of ANYTHING!  I am not a naturally thirsty person...

I had SUCH a hard time not binge eating last night!

Three of my coworkers were arrested, two were a married couple that I've known through work (actually used to confide in the wife, as she was on my shift and the person I went to to de-stress).

They had everyone going, even the "warden" of our corrections facility was crying as he told us about this.

I stayed under my calories for the day, but it was hard.

Heather D.

WHAT!?  They had to do something pretty obviously wrong.  Are you shocked with what they did to get arrested?  Holy Crap.  Anyways since you said you had a hard time not binging, can I assume that you suceeded and didn't?  When I am nervous energy stressed I eat, I just stand in front of the cupboards. We are starting to look at houses while the market is in our favor which does not happen often so I'm going to have to be super strong!
