From low 200's trying to get to the mid 100's (145-155) anyone wanna do it with me (FEMALE)

This group is my effort to get support from everyone and get everyone that needs suppoort to help each other. So everyone thats in this boat thats around the 200s and is aiming to get down to the mid 100s (135-155) or less. Monday morning will be the group's official weigh in so that we can talk about progress and give support if people are having problems and not losing as much as they would like.

YAY, dek04on the weight loss!!!  Woo hoo!!! 

kae03, don't ya' just LOVE moving into the lower BMI!  When I went from 'morbidly obese' to 'moderatly overweight', I was tickled!  Can't wait to get to the lower ratings.  'Slightly' and 'Normal' are now my new targets (after I hit the 'below 200 pounds' target).

redneckwife....  Wow!  Sounds like a lot of excitement!  Congrats on staying below your calories but don't go too far below.  As long as they are below your 'burn' numbers, you're doing good!  Did you try to eat some high-fiber foods like apples and high fiber cereal?  They really do help fill you up a little bit before lunch and dinner.  You can do it! If nothing else, all the excitement at work should help keep your adrenaline going! 

Well gang, for the first time in a very long time, the sun is shining here and it's going to get into the 40's.  I'm going to take advantage and go to a local park for a LONG walk!

I had a weekend away with my hubby and with the extra walking I did I stayed under calories both days!  I didn't push myself to eat more since I am recovering from the flu...  Cool...

redneckwife- holy cow, sounded pretty stressfull at work the other night!! Sounds like you hung in there! I know when I've had a stressfull day at work, i can overeat my daily calories or want to binge, you did great!!! As for myself, I was craving a fast food burger REALLY bad! So instead, I went to Subway and had a roast beef sub, with brown mustard, and all the veggies. I'm so full and satisfied!

Count me in!! Monday morning I will be online... I/m 20 years olsd andcurrently am somewhere between 197 and 201 pounds, can't tell because I am bloated right now. I need to lose at least 30 pounds for health reasons, but my goal weight is 139... Let's do this!!!

rdneckwife, thinking of you!  We are having out of town guests today and hubby really wants to get them philly cheese steaks while they are here.  I entered the calories and as long as I only eat a 6 inch one I should be fine calorie wise...need to really push the water today though.  AND avoid chips.  I am pmsing and the salt is exactly what I am craving and exactly what I need to stay away from!

while I am here...may as well voice a frustration to people who will understand.

There is a young woman who is close with our family...an adopted daughter in a way.  She was telling me how happy she was that she lost 17 pounds this past month...she is think to begin with...just eating better and working out she dropped all that weight.  Her mom is obese so she does need to stay ahead of her weight, because genetics do play a part in to some degree...happy for her but sad for me that I need to fight for very pound I loose and others really can drop them overnight!  OK...done feeling sorry for my self.

Kae-I dont consider that feeling sorry for yourself! I know it frustrates the daylights out of me that my DH can drop weight like a coat! I understand you being proud of you friend, but disgruntled that its not happening to you that way. BUT! Remember! Your ARE losing! And thats the idea, right? :)

Kauf- Hey, Maybe you can explain something for me. Is the eat meter calories how much you NEED to eat at the top? Because it seems like a TON to me. If it is, I'll drive for it, if not, how can you find out how much you need to eat daily?

 

Ok, so it didnt hit the fan...yet. They said it'll be out tomorrow, instead. Thankfully, I dont have to work then. I imagine they all know, though. Their little system of information is usually better than ours, and I know a few of the "trustee's" know what happened. Thats usually a kicker for the information, since half the time they pass it Tongue out

Heya' rdneckwife.  No problem.  If you go to 'Tools' and then 'Calorie Target,' you can enter your personal information to get a summary of how many calories you need to consume to maintain and/or lose weight.  This differs depending on your level of activity (which you can select -- I checked it for both light and moderate activity).  Use that information to determine what your calorie goals are.

Now, go to 'My Account' and 'Account Settings.'  At the bottom of this page you'll see a box where you can enter 'Target Daily Calories.'  And there you have it!! Now at the top of the 'Eat Meter,' you'll see the calorie goals that you set for yourself.

I hope this helps!

Ok...official weigh in.  I am 196...it has gone back up to 197 at times this week, but goes back to 196 so...I lost a pound this week. 

What about everyone else?

I started at 215 and I am now down to 209.6.  I leave for Maui in 2 weeks and would like to get to 200-205! Hope I can do it!

Great day today!  I went to the gym this morning and did my workout.  My trainer did my measurements today and I have gone from 41% body fat to 35% body fat since the end of January. When I started out of my 223 pounds only 129 pounds was lean.  Now 139 pounds are lean so I am losing fat!   Not only is my weight down but my body fat is so much better!!  It is such a boost!!  I am finally making progress from all of the hard work.  I work everyday to educate myself on changing my lifestyle to make this a permanent change!  I am 54 and have lost weight too many times only to gain it back so this time I am aiming on a change in the way I live.  I am down to 207 this week.  Hopefully I will break 200 soon!

 

Today I weighed 228, down another pound this week and 14 total.  I did ok drinking water this weekend, but still not as good as I do during the week.  My husband baked cookies last night and I ate a few, so I was pleasantly surprised this morning to see I still had a weight loss.

I took my son for a walk on Sunday, but didn't do much other exercising.  I am looking forward to going to the gym tonight and getting a good workout in.  I seem to feel better after that.

Monday weigh-in:

Height:  5' 9"

Starting Weight: 208 lbs  

Goal Weight: 145 lbs

Mini Goal:  180 lbs

Last Week: 194 lbs

Current Weight:  189 lbs 

Weight Lost This Week:  5 lbs

Weight Remaining Until Goal: 44 lbs

Wow. Not sure how I lost 5 lbs this week! 3lbs happened over the 3 days I was sick last week, thought it was water weight but I never gained it back. Fine with me!!! HA!!! WOW, I am in the 180's!!!!!!!! I cannot believe it!! I had to go out last night and buy some new pants for work, all my others were getting too big! The ones I bought last night now seem too big this morning as well. Not sure whats going on! I have a doc appt this afternoon to have my thyroid levels checked. She put me on Synthorid a couple years ago and just wants to make sure my dosage is still ok. Have a good day everyone!!!

which means a loss of 1.4 lbs this week, which is surprising as I have been mostly easting my maintinance calorie limit.

Hello everyone!

 I haven't been on for awhile, very busy.  Last week I was 203 got down to 200.4 by Friday but this morning weighed in at 202.  It could have been my husband's famous chocolate chip cookies - I just can't resist.

I know what you mean mom4asa, those chocolate chip cookies are the worst...
