lunch suggestions?--300 calories

Quote  |  Reply
I ate a huge breakfast this morning (I usually eat a decent sized breakfast because I feel so much better throughout the day, but this morning I went a little overboard), so I'm planning to have a lighter lunch so that I can still eat my normal amount of calories at dinnertime. Can anyone suggest some lunch menus that will be filling enough, for around 2-300 calories?

Soup is a great lunch...fills you up...tastes great...lots of choices.  Add a snack size bag of cheese its (100 cals) and you have a300 cal lunch
I'm on a tunafish, pickle, lettuce, tomato on a "Flat Out" wrap kick!

Yummy & filling, and around 250 cal ;o)
Maybe instead of cutting cals for lunch go for a walk to use up those extra calories you ate.  Probably a 15 minute walk around the block will burn 100 calories
Green salad.  Whole wheat tortilla turkeys roll up. It should be less than 250 calories.
i got a lot of suggestions here: http://www.calorie-count.com/forums/post/2388 4.html

ok, the title is 400 calorie... but most of the ideas are less than that or can be made that way by taking out an ingredient or so. :)
FYI those flat out breads are high in sodium
I can of Amy's Vegetarian Chilli,  good for you, yummy and filling
Subway 6 inch turkey sub w/ no cheese is approx 280 cals.

P.S. I'm a college student, eating on meal plan, so that makes it difficult to find healthy options and not get stuck eating the same foods each day... i'm going to try out a bunch of these suggestions all week, i've been getting tired of my same-old...
