What did YOU have for lunch today?
Lunch is my favorite meal
I had 4oz grilled chicken breast, shredded with 1/2cup raw spinach and sundried tomato spread in a mini pita with a side of way too much watermelon! It was yummy though!
:( i had 2 scoops of protien shake, with some creatine, and some carbs as a food replacement :( lol
i had some thinly sliced deli turkey meat and pickled jalapenos on white wheat bread, and an orange
Small bowl of cauli + broc with mushroom sauce, 2 tbs of hummus with 3 finncrisps, a small avocado pear. Delish!
I'm afraid I was a little hungier than yesterday, but I did keep it w/in the limit...
8oz helping of low-fat cottage cheese (quickly becoming a fave food) & 2 servings of Ritz crackers (the regular ones @ 80 cals. per serving of 5).
So, all in all, even tho' I ate more this time, I was still able to be full w/ only 320 cals...and I'm stuffed.
I am really likin' this diet!
Now to add some veggies w/ dinner tonight...
I had a yummy sammich :) wholewheat with roast chicken and cucumber with tomatoes (salted!) and red pepper relish and i really wanted something sweet so i had a low sugar ice lolly !
Today I'm taking a pizza lunchable, a watermelon f.f yogurt and some baby carrotts to work lol. Exciting I know!
Yesterday I had a La Tortilla Factory wrap (tomato) with black pepper turkey, spinach and mustard. Carrots, cucumber slices and tomato on the side. An apple for dessert....later ate the SF jello and rest of carrots.
I had a big salad with mixed greens, roasted red peppers, cucumbers, olives, cherry tomatoes, and tuna. Very filling for me. :)
late breakfast today...so no lunch yet.
Egg beaters, whole wheat toast dry w/ Smucker's strawberry jelly, 6 oz OJ...
1 cup spinach w/an indian sauce mixed into it
1 cup green beans w/parmasean-spice mix
16 almonds
a 2x2 square of a diet-coke cake w/blueberries in it.
Leftover turkey chili with beans, onions and peppers (buffalo sauce = yum!) followed by fresh cherries (finishing off the huge bag I had bought to make a clafoutis over the weekend; there were about 100 g of edible cherries left) and two squares of Lindt dark chocolate.
I just finished eating a late lunch of Jenni-O turkey hotdog with lots of mustard, a HUGE Boars Head pickle from the deli, Salt and Pepper Popchips and a wedge of watermelon. It hit the spot!!
I worked a weird 12-8p shift today so I took a cheese pizza luncahble, f.f watermelon yogurt and baby carrots lol
I'm a lazy student XD Had instant ramen noodles yesterday and added some wakame seaweed and dried mushrooms. For dessert I ate a peach.
Today I'll make a minestrone for lunch (with frozen veggies and dried mushrooms), and those peaches still need to be eaten. :)
Today I had a small lunch to leave room to eat with friends later:
2% cottage cheese with hot sauce, a tomato sliced with salt and some reduced fat club crackers..they were yummy!
I had lunch with an old friend who I haven't seen in about a year today!
! We went to Panera and I got a you pick two with there strawberry poppy seed salad, vegetarian garden vegetable and a whole wheat baguette. Oh I love PAnera! :-)
Today I tried quinoa for the first time, it was yummy! I had it cooked in FF chicken stock, onion and orange bell peppers. I also ate a steamed artichoke with a little butter...then a cup of blueberries for dessert![]()
I too tried out Panera today. Had the You Pick 2, with a 1/2 turkey on sourdough..no mayo..and 1/2 Classic Cafe salad with the Reduced Sugar Poppyseed dsg which was really good, and apple on the side. I also had a NF latte while waiting for my friends to arrive. Good thing I forgot breakfast?!!
I had a serving of reduced fat Wheat Thins with one of the light Laughing Cow cheeses.
I had Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup - 220 calories and I took a slice of bread and folded it in half, then added turkey, half a slice of cheese, mustard and lettuce - 90 calories for the bread, 20 calories for the turkey and 35 calories for the cheese. The mustard and lettuce are basically calorie free, so I didn't count them.
Grand total of 365!
