I've noticed that there is alot of "what did you have for breakfast?" forums and even some for dinner, but I've never seen a one for lunch.

So as the starter I had

-a wrap that had turkey, salami, reduced fat cheese, lots of lettuce, and a little bit of mayo

- an apple

-100 calorie pack (Oreos)

-and a diet pepsi

what about you?

oh wows im the first 1 to comment in these for once well for me it was a bowl of weight watchers soup with a packet of snack a jacks and diet pepsi

i was good for a while and had a tuna sandwich and then my friend brought me a 12x12 pan of brownies and i ate each bite!!! how many calories is that? i don't think i'm gonna eat for the rest of the day.
I had a turkey bologna sandwich and a bowl of strawberries & blueberries.  The fruit was supposed to be my mid-morning snack but I got busy with work.  Otherwise I would've had 100 cal pack of baked cheetos.
Yeah, rubester... that's a lot of calories.  probably around 1200, as a LOW estimate.  If I were you, I'd think about hitting the gym too.  Might make you feel better.

Half a turkey avocado sandwich on a whole wheat roll from Safeway, some celery stalks dipped in very little 2% chive cottage cheese. I'm stuffed now. I swear, my stomach shrank since I started counting calories 6 weeks at 12 pounds ago.
rubester668, just because you ate a pan of brownies and went over your calories for the day doesn?t mean you've eaten sufficient nutrition for the day.  Eat a good healthy dinner and if you?re concerned about the brownies get a healthy dose of exercise.
No, rubester, don't starve for the rest of the day.  You'll just slow down your metabolism and then wake up ravenous.  It's best if you eat something low-calorie and healthy, like a big salad with lots of vegetables and a little lean protein.

it sounds really wimpy and low-cal but i was FULL after that, only problem is sugar really runs through you fast.. maybe i need to switch up my lunch a little more..?

yesterday i had a salad w/ romaine lettuce, cucumbers, tomato, carrots and red onion w/ red pepper vinagrette (1TBsp), a plum and plain broiled chicken drumstick(290 cals). 

Today im having an eating right lemongrass chicken frozen entree and a navel orange (330 cals).

i also always have a snack in the late afternoon,.. usually its a nectarine and a snack at about 1030, usually a lucerne pepper jack, colby or mild chedder cheese stick. (100-120 cals) 

 

today I had a fake chicken salad on a piece of rye toast.

the salald has: chopped quorn bites
                         1tbsp miracle whip light
                         1/2 c frozen peas
                         dill and garlic powder.

It was pretty good. Wish I would have had celery though :(
Normally I eat 150g of broiled Salmon and two pieces of fruit.  However today I ran out of both so I had two of these Taquito things I found at my grocer.  210 Cals each.   Drank a diet pepsi.

I had a hard boiled egg smashed up with 1 tsp mayo and 10 saltine crackers.  Didn't think the 1 tsp would do it for egg salad, it was dry but ok - and at 90 cals per tsp - I couldn't afford another.

And Rubester - forgive yourself for the brownies and go on like normal.  An extra walk would help.  Sometimes I forget to forgive myself when I blow it, and then I blow it worse.  Don't fall into that!

i had a salad with mushrooms, cherry tomatoes with some celery chopped in it. then i had 2 pieces of celery with laughing cow cheese, a medium apple dipped in yogurt and 2 pieces of a california roll.
I had an onion and lettuce salad with ranch dressing, lentiles and dried cranberries with a few bite-sized pieces of chicken. then i had a big bowl of fiber one and some coffee. yum... i was hungry.
