Hi everyone,

What do you do when you need to buy lunch while at work?  I usually bring but havent been home in a few days and had nothing at my boyfriends house.  there are many little delis and an au bon pain downstairs.  My only concern is I never feel like I can measure out my calories when I eat out.   I dont want to lose control simply because I have to buy lunch.  Any suggestions?

If there's a chain nearby - check online.  Otherwise, a good option (if you can afford the sodium) is a non-cream based soup - vegetable or chicken noodle - they're usually around 100 calories a serving.  That and a piece of whole-grain bread would probably make a nice easy on the calories lunch.

Oh, and while you're there - would you get me some, too?  :)
This happend to me last week.   I order a 1/2 turkey sandwich  on wheat with mustard and veggies with a cup of soup.
You could go to the deli and use the nutrition info from Subway. A
round ham sandwhich is about 230 with veggies and no mayo.
If there is a Subway nearby I would go there. They have great nutrition info available and a 6inch sub isn't too bad on the calories provided it's turkey :)
Au Bon Pain isn't too bad.   Here's a link for their nutritional info  http://www.dwlz.com/Restaurants/aubonpain.htm l  I like places like this or even Subway.   Their wraps and salads can be pretty good.   Where ever I can go and load up on the veggies and say easy on the dressing!
