Lunges Question
Lunges Question: I have been doing lunges where I stand and step forward, lunge and then return to my starting position. I hate doing them this way, it just feels uncomfortable and I find myself dragging my front foot when I return to starting position. Aside from this method, I know of walking lunges and "pulsing" lunges (where you would lunge forward and keep the same leg forward and pulse up and down for your reps). Has anyone mixed it up in Stage 1? If so did your results change? Just curious, thanks ![]()
I don't think it makes much difference if you do the walking lunges, or pulsing (static) lunges if you want. Some people also do better with reverse lunges -- it seems to help with form.
As long as you are hitting those muscles and pressing that heel into the floor the variations are just that -- variations.
