Yeah. It's fine to eat M&Ms. Are the healthiest thing for you? Nope. But if they stop you from binging on serious amounts of chocolate, enjoy your 2 or 3.

Yes, when you're craving for chocolate. You can eat a couple of pieces. You aren't destroying your diet if you do that.
I commend you for being able to keep a jar and only eat 2 or 3. I would sit and finish off the entire thing in one sitting. You should be proud of your willpower!

I'm impressed you can stop at 2 or 3. Little chocolates are literally like alcohol to someone in AA for me. A little bit doesn't satisfy -- it awakens a monster. So I've learned to stay away. (But only little chocolates like M&Ms or c.chips or kisses. Go fig.)

it's a choice ~ if you have the calories to spend, then it's fine :)
i like to visualize the choice... ~ 14 m&m's or a cold juicy sweet orange... they are about the same calories...
and sometimes only choklit will do... and those days, i choose the m&m's...

I like chocolate too but I try to count them and bag them in 100 calories so I know what I'm eating.
