in my point of view, new stuff is more true and right! by the way you should always control the place where that machine is! i think on 3rd floor your weight will be more than on the 1st floor! i think so....and ya know there are lots of machines which are not correct! so stop worring!:)
I suggest taking your scale to your work that way you can compare there.  I think your scale is just off by a bit though. That seems more logical to me.

Just a suggestion to put your mind at ease.
talking my weighing machine to work???? ammmmmm....
taking** i mean...
ummm...i'm pretty sure what floor you're on makes no difference to your weight....you don't weigh differently until you are out of the earth's atmosphere, and somehow i doubt that the third floor is anywhere close!
I think that one of the scales is off.

I agree - I seriously doubt that what floor a person is one makes a difference in what a person weighs.  Gravitational pull towards the center of the earth (what is effectively what we think of as "weight"), won't change even when 10 stories above ground level.

The variation you're seeing is more likely due to differences between the scales themselves, or (even more likely) the time of day that you're weighing yourself at home and then at work.  Just with one scale in one place, weight measurement can vary by 5 pounds in a single day.  The only way (that I know of) to get close to consistent measurements on a scale is to measure yourself at the same time on the same scale, just after going to the bathroom, and with no clothes on.  Even then, there could be variation due to water retention or TTOM.
