Magazine looking for a successful Calorie Counter
Dear Calorie Counters,
First For Women reporter Lisa Maxbauer would like to feature someone who has lost weight and is familiar with the book Eat This Not That (Amazon link). Specifically, she would like you to share which smart food swaps helped you the most.
If you're interested or would like to hear more, send me a private message or email me at igor [at] calorie-count [dot] com.
Igor
We are still actively looking for members for this media opportunity, so get in touch with us if you'd like to be featured in First For Women!
Hi Igor! I can't believe that there are no takers for this! I've successfully lost weight, but I am not at my goal yet. Is she looking for someone that is at goal, or maybe some still in the process? More info please! ~Tonnie
I just thought that maybe everyone has PM'd you, so maybe there is an over abundance of responses already.
I would like to nominate a wonderful women in my Motivation group... Karey, her tag is K9Stylist... she has lost a significant amount of weight and has kept it off successfully.... here is her profile with before and after pictures... LOVE her!!!!

I second the nomination for k9stylist!! She not only lost about 50 lbs. but she did through healthy eating, calorie counting and exercise. She has kept the weight off for a long time and continues to inspire many people like myself to keep making healthy choices everyday! Go Karey!!
The lack of response is not real encouraging, is it?
Kay, I think the problem might be that most of the people who have been sucessful no longer need to be on caloriecount.com
I've reached my goal, and still come back CC... but I'm not familiar with the book (beyond hearing of it), and don't really have "smart food swaps that helped you the most." Just ate the higher calorie stuff less often (or in smaller portions). And moved more.
This is terrific!! I found this book last fall in the Chicago airport while I was on a trip, just after I started counting calories! It helped me tremendously, I still reference it all the time, I keep it in my desk at work and my coworkers love it, too.
I've heard of the book and have picked it up a few times because it is so surprising seeing all the nutrition alid out for some of the foods. I have lost around 100 pounds but didn't use the book :( It could have been fun talking about my experiences, especially since I've been able to maintain for a couple years now. Oh, well. I will have to look for the article when it comes out, I hope there is an announcement on calorie-count about it.
