magic pasta
It's called fiber gourmet. For 2oz. dry it has only 130 calories and 18 grams of fiber!!!!!!! Apparently it's available at some whole foods markets. I haven't tried it yet, though. Has anyone else? I'd like to know how it is. It doesn't look like icky rice pasta, it looks real. here's how they do it: http://www.fibergourmet.com/FiberTech.aspx![]()
I've only tried the macaroni & cheese, and it taste just like the normal stuff, but it's $$$
I love this stuff. I have about 10 bags of it in by cupboards right now. It's delicious! If I had to describe it I would say that even though it's dry pasta, it tastes a lot like fresh pasta after cooking. At least the texture is a lot like that of fresh pasta.
Taste-wise you honestly can't tell the difference. It's goooooood!
