On the healthy side:  unsweetened yogurt, berries (any kind, fresh or frozen, unsweetened), peanut butter, whole wheat bread, lean grilled meat (fish/chicken/pork/beef), cabbage and other raw vegetables, low fat cottage cheese, tostadas, salsa, egg whites, high bran waffles and pancakes, maple syrup, baked beans, dried apricots, unsweetened applesauce.

On the not so healthy side (in moderation and with all calories accounted for): cookies, donuts, ice cream, chocolate, white rice, pasta, pie, full fat cheeses, potatoes, pizza, red wine (?), coffee (?).

Foods I avoid almost entirely: hot and cold breakfast cereal, french fries, fried chicken, fried fish, liquid milk, soy sauce, potato chips.

I lost 50 lbs on this diet over 6 months.  To some degree it's food selection, but mostly it's counting the calories and getting a lot of exercise to maintain a 500-1000 calorie/day deficit.
oatmeal, go lean cereal, granola bars, wraps

chicken,salmon, shrimp

peanut butter, guacamole (goes with everything!)
