Should I mainly stick to cardio, weights or a combo of both?
I am trying to lose weight - that is my number one priority right now. I do go to the gym at least 3x a week and I usually burn about 400 calories on the elliptical and than do weight training primarily for my legs, arms, gluts.
Is the weight training aiding in my weight loss or hindering it?
Im 27 yrs old, female, 5'9" 215 lbs.
Thanks

Weight training is actually a more efficient way of burning fat than cardio (this article explains is pretty well) up to a certain point.
Weights then cardio is also going to give you better results than cardio before weights.
I would think cardio is more effective because of the calories burned? Im so confused...
