How am I still maintaining?
Hi there-
So I went from 145lbs in Jan to 135-137 lbs right now. I am 5'5.5 and medium build. Pear shaped.
I did NROLFW 2 times a week for 7-8 months and watched my portions.
For the past couple of months I have just been playing dodgeball once a week (great cardio) and doing kickboxing 1-2 times a week (KILLER workout)
I havent really been watching what I eat too much. More just moderating and trying not to be too bad. Not drinking much and TRYING to watch portions.
How on earth am I still around 137 right now? With so little effort?
I weigh myself once a week before kickboxing (there is a scale at the club)

Eating the right amounts has probably become natural for you. That is awesome. I would be happy. But maybe you should weigh yourself about once every week or 2 just to make sure you are on track

That is where I am aiming and I hope it is the same way for me. :) It is encouraging to see you successful with intuitive eating.

That's great that you can do that. I have been on not recording calories or weigh-ins regularly and don't feel all that comfortable about it. For me, since my will-power often leaves for holidays and takes me with it, I don't do any good on intuitive eating. My exercising is somewhat better, because although I do not record it currently, I am doing some every day. Anyway, congratulations for a good plan of attack on your maintenance.
Thanks! I still have my weekly pigouts. Im a sucker for sweets so thats my downfall. I just try to eat a small amount but sometimes im really bad.
I ate BAD and drank alot over thanksgiving weekend. (in canada) and was VERY surprised that when i weighed in on Tues after that long weekend I seemingly didnt gain any weight somehow!
Cool! I'm so surprised but loving every minute of it!
