Actually, 140 is my target, but it sounds so much better to say "under 140". Anyway, I've lost about 50 lbs. over the last 2.5 years, which wasn't all that hard. Seems like maintaining is harder. Maybe we can share strategies/experiences with this.
what is your bmi? if you drink alot of water, that would show up on the scale. :D
at least you had ice cream & fries!!! that doesn't sound like you... i was really worried about you getting enough fats, but there is fat in both of them, right?
BMI is 21, which is still healthy, but getting close to underweight Would like to try one of those electronic body fat calculators. Tried one about 5 years ago and was at 26 or 28 (borderline obese). I don't drink much water, but when I weigh myself in the morning, I'm pretty empty. Should have gotten my fat today with a 1/2 ham sandwich for lunch and pulled pork for dinner.
Luckily we will be hauling our camper out to the Dells so we can pack most of our food and avoid the restaurants. We will also be taking a cooler on our day trips to bring along fruits, veggies, sandwiches, and the like... that should help us avoid most of the fatty, deep-fried, salty goodies at the attractions.
141.5 this morning, kind of expected that, yesterday was a 'low' day for calories, I barely made 1200. But this was after 2 'high' days in a row, so I was due!
Onward and downward!
but water will add more weight! :D drink something else then when you go to the doc. there will always be days when you are up & days when you are down. 21 bmi is not so bad. that's what i'm aiming for!!! lol
bip, i was eating bad all week last week! lol i'm back down to 139 now though. :D hopefully, 137 by saturday!!! i know the rules & that all depends on whether i behave or not.

140.5 this morning, still heading the right direction! I'll shoot for another 'low' day today, and maybe I'll squeak under the 140 mark before we leave Friday morning! That will be the first time since January!!
I think a BMI of 21 is very good as well, it's a very healthy number.

OMG! 137 today!!! yep :D 137... now i need to behave for sure!
i should be 136 by tomorrow!!! i walked 8 miles yesterday & i've been exercising & using my weights for 3 days now. i really can feel the difference too! i thought i was gonna get down to 134 & still be fat with a 21 bmi, but now i know that exercise really does show! :D

136.5 again. Dr. tomorrow. He won't be happy, but the less I weigh, the better I feel. Been eating pretty well. Even had pizza on Friday, went out for ice cream on Sat. Hardly starving, but keeping up on exercise, especially with warm weather. Maybe with some modest snacking, I'll stay at 135.
Snow, you might have to start a 129 club.

So here we go again, no more excuses for cheating... even though we have a wedding to go to out of town this weekend. I expected as much though... I ate horribly these last few days, and now it's time for PMS,... CALGON TAKE ME AWAY!!!!!!

I eat about 1500 calories a day (even though I totally blew it today, it was closer to 1800), and I exercise 3 days weights, 3 days cardio, 1 day of rest. I want to maintain this weight forever.
sure, welcome amanda! :D this board is pretty slow at times, but we're all here, i think.
that's the whole point! lol you don't want to gain any weight back after losing it. i lost 84 pounds & i have all new clothes. i got rid of the bigger clothes, so that is really helping me. i can't afford to go buy bigger clothes now after giving them all away & i won't.

136.5 again for my Monday weigh in. Sorry for being such a boring 139 member. Dr. thought I was stable, but I cheated by keeping my shoes on. Cholesterol is really low with very minimal drugs. Probably can stop most of it. Hang in there.

i'm going thursday. hopefully he'll take me off these blood pressure pills. my bp was 90/60 yesterday. i hope my daughter doesn't have her baby before then or i'll have to miss the visit & i've been waiting 3 months for this!
