Actually, 140 is my target, but it sounds so much better to say "under 140". Anyway, I've lost about 50 lbs. over the last 2.5 years, which wasn't all that hard. Seems like maintaining is harder. Maybe we can share strategies/experiences with this.
Where's everyone at today??
I've been being really good today... I went for a run, walked the dog, and ran errands this morning. Keeping it healthy food wise too:
Breakfast: 1% no salt added Cottage Cheese (1/2c) w/fresh cantaloupe, wheat wrap w/chocolate PB2
Snack: Pure Protein Deep Chocolate Bar and Skinny Vanilla Latte
Lunch: Fiber Gourmet whole wheat pasta w/tofu & diced tomatoes, BIG spinach and romaine salad w/chopped strawberries, cucumbers and sugar-free raspberry vinaigrette dressing
Snack: Vitatop muffin
Dinner: probably going to Panera Bread, so maybe the new strawberry salad w/chicken...??
i get home SO late now from work!! i cant believe this is summer, and im working at a desk alllll day!!!

Hi Guys: Hope everyone had a great 4th. Had my MIL, niece, and both kids home. No big activities, only eating. One meal out (Giordano's pizza), otherwise, no huge meals. I kind of get repulsed when everyone else is pigging out. Unfortunately, my weight blew right through 130and starting to look like Benjamin Button flexing his biceps in the mirror. I think I related to him since I'm feeling younger and younger (and smaller) every day. We really liked the movie, gave it 4 Netflix stars. Anyone else using Netflix?
Going to Bastille Day in Milwaukee this weekend, that should get me over 130. Also in he works is a fall visit to Montreal/QC. Anyone been there. Anyway, I have to stop this slide before I disappear. Maybe I'll start eating the icing on the cake at work.
Sorry I don't check in more often, but I seem to be napping or watching the Cubbies when I'm home.

I weigh 150. .
lil bit of history. .
I am 5'10'' female. .age 35. .few years ago started cycling now road biking. . My weight was 170-174 when I started..so I guess 150 isn't bad. .
My ultimate goal is 139!! So when I saw this Forum I started poking around and there are some motivated folks on here. .congrats to all who are 139 and under lovin it. .
I eat right.(1500-1800 cals) . sleep a good 8 hours. . and bike/walk or run 3 times a week. . any helpful hints on obtaining my goal soon?

hi guys! sorry I haven't been a while... I kind of have a lot going on right now in my life! but I'll be back soon :) eating is really great, been slacking on exercise and even though I have a break from school, I'm still mega-busy... wtf?! lol! weight is under 144 on a Tuesday and that's pretty cool :) Still probably dropping water weight from the 4th and the hangover-day after, lol.

Agru: That sucks that you get home so late now! :( Don't worry, I'm not going to go wasting away, if that's what you mean... I'm still eating plenty, no starvation going on here. I've just been trying to keep my diet really healthy and balanced when possible. Been feeling much better lately because of it. Good job on your food choices yesterday, looks like you're eating healthy and adding some healthy fats in from the mayo and PB. :) Good job on the 30 Day Shred!
Morton: Sounds like you had a good 4th and kept it fairly healthy. I started to watch Benjamin Button, but was tired and eventually lost interest... it wasn't bad though, so I'll have to finish watching it sometime... I think the last part I saw was when he was having the affair w/the lady at the hotel. Woohoo, Milwaukee! Thats where my sister lives... have fun! Yeah, eat the icing on the cake so you don't waste away on us all, lol! :) Oh, never been to Montreal/QC, but I'd like to sometime.

Looong day at work today and the air conditioning on my side was still broken! Ugh. I sweated my butt off from 7am-5pm... good calorie burn though, right? ;) I got my GoWear Fit tonight! I had to go to UPS and pick it up since it required I sign for it, so I haven't gotten to play w/it yet. I'm going to charge it tonight and start wearing it tomorrow, yay! :)

geez, you guys! i shoulda brought my scale!!! i'm walking everyday, but eating isn't very good. i'm eating way too much. i'm getting in lots of fruits & veges, but i dunno. we're eating out alot, etc.
i'm getting the old, 'too skinny', 'can't afford to lose any more weight', 'you better eat!', 'you look familiar, but it's only 1/3 of you now', etc. ya know, it feels pretty good hearing that stuff, but it makes me want to eat. LOL
oh man... chocolate, fudge, coconut cream pie, buffets... uggghhhh!!! i'm probably gonna be 150 when i get home!!! :(

Pilgrim: You would love the GoWear Fit and the website... it graphs all kinds of things and you can export it into reports... you'd have a blast w/that! LOL So far I love, love, love it and it's working great! Burning a lot more calories than I thought! I think I need to eat more...
Snow: Sounds like you're having a good time w/all that food! Don't worry, you'll be fine w/out your scale, you can do it!! Just relax, enjoy yourself, keep active and have fun! :)
luvtoridemybike: How long have you been plateaued?? Maybe try eating maintenance calories for awhile and let you body have a rest and reset itself, then try again... Or, some people swear by zigzagging... varying your calorie intake from day to day.

Keeping it healthy today... last night I caved and went to DQ after seeing the commerical for the new Tagalong (PB Girlscount cookies) Blizzard... ended up getting one, but it wasn't that great. Wish I hadn't, but know I know. ;) I'm being good today and trying to stay active... hoping to do some weight lifting later and take the dog for a nice walk. :)

Pilgrim: I just uploaded my GoWear Fit armband to the program and so far today (as of 6pm) I've burned 2,048 calories and taken over 8,000 steps! I'm aiming to burn about 2500 calories today, so once I do my weight lifting, i'm sure I'll reach my goal... may even have to eat a bit more. :) Oh, and I looked at my sleep for last night and it graphs when I fell asleep and was asleep and has little blips when I woke up for a minute and probably switched position... it says I slept for 7hrs. and 5 minutes last night, with a 93% sleep efficiency rating... pretty neat.
I love dessert pizza... especially the apple one! I've never made one before though... not sure about apricots, not a huge fan. If you'd used apples or something else, I think it'd be really good! Sounds like YOU enjoyed it though, so that's all that matters. Well, good luck to both of us on getting our weights in tonight! :)
hi guys, sorry ive been AWOL lately, ive had stomach...issues!!! lol cried last night it was so bad and im NOT a crier, i hate this stuff but i have off tomm and im hoping to just take it really easy and that that will help. i admit, i have not read the posts but im thinking ill have time later or tomm. havent been excercising but have been eating more, finally did jillian level 1 today. today i ate, hmm, bushels and bushels of fruit, i still get eeked when i cant guesstimate how much ive eaten but im just trying to remind myself that its just fruit, even if i did OD on it, its just grapes, cherries, plums, apples, not bad!!
K9-so i just skimmed but what do u do w the info, like u know how much u sleep now, but then what?? lol good lord, 2500 in a day?! i wish i had a more active job, maybe thats it, i literally sit all day.

Agru: Sorry to hear you're having stomach issues, that bites! I haven't been feeling very well yesterday and today either... my throat is really sore, I'm all sniffly, and I have a nasty headache. Feel kind of like I got hit by a bus and not very hungry today... trying to eat healthy and get my needed cals in though! I'm glad you're eating more, good for you! Yeah, I don't think too much fruit is gonna kill you. ;) I use the info from my GoWear Fit to monitor my calorie intake and adjust my sleep, and physical activity, etc. It helps me see what I really burn and where I'm lacking in activity or sleep. So, did you order any of the new Chocolate Mint Vitatops??? They sounds really good, but not sure if I'm gonna order any now since I got Vitamuffins not that long ago...
Pilgrim: Don't worry, I've been watching my diet and eat a proper amount of protein, etc. I even had a protein shake after my weights last night. LOL, you should see the steps I had today!! I went running this morning and then walked the dog, so I had a TON of steps. The strawberry dessert pizza sounds much better, just not sure how the cheddar cheese would taste w/that... what about provolone or swiss?? Hope you enjoyed it!
I wasn't feeling that great today, but I made myself get up and run outside this morning... I went about 3.5 miles and then came back and got the dog and took her for a walk. I was off today, so I went to Panera Bread for lunch w/a friend... got the Strawberry Poppyseed salad w/chicken. It's so good, just not sure if the chicken tastes right w/the fruit, lol. I'd like to walk the dog again, but it's rainy and stormy, so as long as the rain stays away for a bit...
