Actually, 140 is my target, but it sounds so much better to say "under 140".  Anyway, I've lost about 50 lbs. over the last 2.5 years, which wasn't all that hard.  Seems like maintaining is harder.  Maybe we can share strategies/experiences with this.

137.2 is awesome!  congrats  :D  i can only hope that i will do as well. 

i did great with the halloween candy though.  we hardly ever get anyone & i always buy a bunch of candy...  just in case.  this year, i didn't!  i just bought like 3 things & the family has already finished it all.  Whew...

ok, so on to the next holiday...  geez!  winters are rough.  there are so many reasons to eat.  i guess summers are just as bad with parties & stuff, but winter has alot of holidays.

well, i don't leave til saturday morning.  meanwhile, i am trying to convince myself that i just need to trust myself.  i've been at this for a year & 2 months already & i KNOW what to do.

either way, i'm so excited!!!  :D

135 this morning.  Lots of Halloween candy left over. Think I'll feed it to my co-workers that complain that I'm too thin.

mortongrove~  Congrats on the 135!  Sounds like a good idea to feed the candy to the coworkes, although I'm sure having a little won't hurt you any.  ;)

134.5 today.  Pretty good for a birthday weekend.  Party with friends on Friday, visited with the youngest at college on Saturday, and older one came home for dinner on Sunday.  Took the birthday cake leftovers to work along with some Costco sweets.  Think they were mad that I brought all this food and then don't eat it myself (actually had a little).  Anniversary is next weekend.  May have to run an extra mile or two.    Guess I shouldn't worry so much since I'm a little on the light side.

139.2 today - YIKES!!!  Time to work out like crazy and reign in the eating again.  Guess I've been too lax about it lately.  :(

Went to the doctor this morning and their scale said 139 with clothes, a full bladder, and after I'd eaten breakfast.  My scale must be pretty close to accurate.  =)

Happy Anniversary Snow.  Good excuse for a great meal.  Can always run it off.  Have fun!!!

thanks morton!  :D  happy anniversary to you, too!  you probably didn't even gain anything.  i'm up to 142, but we've been away for awhile & even though we did lots of walking & stuff, we did lots of eating, too.  mostly buffets!!!

we had a great time, though, so i guess it was worth it.  i'll just have to get back down now.  that shouldn't be hard at all...  now that i know how to do it!  :D

congrats on the 137, k9!!!  it's good to know that your scale is the same as the scale at the doc.  you know it's accurate then.  i go to 2 docs & my scale is the same as both of theirs.  it's a cheap one too!

i hope everyone else is doing good.

Snowfence~  Glad to hear you had a good time on your trip!  142 isn't too bad for a bunch of buffets.... you'll be back down in no time!  =)

136.5 on Monday.  Bday and Anniversary caught up with me.  Trying to get back to 134 before Thanksgiving. 

oh yeah!  that wasn't bad at all.  i guess it was just sodium, too, because i'm back down to 138 already  :D

wow!  morton, you must have actually enjoyed yourself for them 2 days.  that's always good to hear.

yeah, we all need to get down before thanksgiving.  lol  so if we gain, it won't even matter.

137 today!  WooHoo!!!  :D  i really don't want to start heading UP again.  i'm kind of on a roll here & i'd like to make it down to 134 before pigging out again...  or even lower!

i want to make my new high 134.  i hate when i hit the 140's & i want them gone forever.  there's no hurry, i guess, but i really need to be careful because it's holiday season!

oh well...  back to walking...  i only did 2.2 miles so far today & i'm gonna do 4.4 before meeting hubby.  then maybe i can squeeze some more in later.

Hope you had a good lunch the other day Snowfence!  Did you have chinese?  I had chinese yesterday for dinner at Panda Express... yummy.  I also had ice cream yesterday!  Gotta get on that treadmill this morning.  As long as I'm under 140 I'm pretty happy.  

nope.  i think i did worse than having chinese...  we went to burger king & i had a whopper & 1/2, small fries AND spicy chicken sandwich!  at least we went to subway today.  that's much better.  :D

man!  i'm walking so much & eating so many fresh fruits & veges to balance the bad eating.

Oooh, Burger King is soo bad!  I can't even remember the last time I was there, but that's a good thing.  Subway is pretty good... we usually go there quite a bit.

Girl, you're so lucky you ate all that crap and are still only at 137!  I bet if I went there and did that, I'd be in trouble.  No fair.  ;)

i know burger king is really bad, but i just try to balance out the good with the bad & it seems to work.  well, that & walking...
