How can I make my husband stop commenting about my food portions?

How can I do all the cooking for my husband and myself, and give myself not only smaller portions but other food as well, and not start a discussion about my plate? Even if I want to have only a salad or a cup of soup and toast, it usually provokes the "I guess I'll just have to eat by myself comment." Any ideas?

Your husband's self-centered comments have raised my ire! You've cooked his food and served it to him and now he wants to control how much you eat? I see on the back-end that you are 5'1" tall and almost 70 years old. How would he like to need only 1500 calories a day to maintain ideal weight? You could use the Calorie Target calculator in the Tools section to show him the difference between his calories requirements and yours, and he could try to count calories for one day to see how quickly they are spent. Or, you could simply ignore him and he'll get over it.

So you can keep track of what you eat - which enables you to analyze your foods and receive the following:
- Health Score of your overall diet
- Warning when you approach your daily calorie limit
- Overview of the good and bad nutrients
