I like to put frozen berries (blueberries or raspberries) in it! :D And then top it off with ground cinnamon and ginger. Very yummy indeed :#

1. honey on top then whole milk on that. I don't know how, but it tastes better not mixed up...

2. spoonfull of jam tucked in (the only way my son will eat it ha ha ha)

3. densely made, then refrigerated. Sometimes I make some a bit on the dry side at the time I make my coffee (when first waking up), then throw it in the fridge shortly after. Maybe an hour later I'm hungry, and it is a bread pudding consistency, a bit bland though.

I don't do dairy, so I just put some banana and/or blueberries, and a bit of honey or maple syrup.

Chopped or grated apple, cinnamon, sweetener (= apple pie oatmeal)

Cinnamon, cardamom, coriander, ginger, sweetener (= chai spice oatmeal)

Cooking dried fruit in it is lovely, because the fruit absorbs the liquid and gets juicy & more delicious - raisins and figs are especially nice like this.

When I was a kid - cooked plain, topped with milk & lots of brown sugar or honey.

And here are a TON of other ideas: http://www.katheats.com/?page_id=2032

Ohh oatmeal is so much fun!! There's literally thousands of different combos! My favorites are:

-Milk, cinnamon, a bit of brown sugar, sliced apples

-Chocolate milk

-Mixed berries and milk

-Mashed banana with chocolate milk

-Honey

And to celebrate the fall season, I've been having mine with some canned pumpkin, milk, pumpkin spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar. Sooooooo good!!Tongue out

I absolutely hate the texture of cooked oatmeal.  I just pour milk over it and set it in the fridge for a few hours or overnight.  96 g of red mill old fashioned and 200 g whole milk about 500 cal

I love oatmeal!  I like to experiment with almond/vanilla/lemon extract.  Sometimes I add flavored yogurt or berries.  I love the canned pumpkin idea.  That is awesome!

BDLANE: I love uncooked oatmeal! i also like cooked, but uncooked is great, especially mixed with wheatgerm and soya milk.

For cooked/uncooked I love chopped hazelnuts, little honey, dried apricots, a kiwi, some prunes, cooked pear, seed mix, chopped walnuts or ground almonds! not altogether usually a mix of dired fruit/fruit and seeds/nuts.

chopped banana and nutella or chocolate spread, or melted chocolate (only a little really dark and good quality) or replace banana for raspberries, strawberries or blueberries.

Raspberry jam, and berries if you have them

golden or maple syrup, and perhaps banana

just sugar or cinnamon sugar

cooked apple and/or sultanas or rubarb

put cocoa powder and/or vanilla or cinnamon sugar in the mix

honey and bananas

walnuts, almonds

cashew, raisins or sultanas, cardamon powder, saffron, perhaps with cooked in grated carrot

I like to first make tea and then use that to cook my oatmeal in. It gives it a subtle flavor and you have almost limitless choices in what kinds of tea you use.

I actually use the store bought, already flavored packets, and add the same amount of plain oatmeal to that, and some milk.  More processed than these other ideas, but very easy.
