How can I make this site STOP sending me email about forum threads?
I posted in several threads, once or twice each, months ago. Now I'm getting email every day about them updating! Frankly I don't CARE that they're updating. How can I stop getting notified? I already went to My Account > Account Settings > Notification Options and unchecked "Replies to your forum postings," yet still these unwelcome emails come!
This only started when I migrated to plus from the old site. It's extremely aggravating.
I don't know if this will help, but you could try.
You could go back into your originals posts, edit your entry and make sure the "email" notification is NOT checked.
With CC+ it's easier now, because on your profile page you can pick the threads you started or responded to and it will go right to your posts -- you don't have to go through the whole thread.
otherwise you might send Eric or Igor a PM or do a feedback by hitting the "tell us what you think button" (top right hand)
Might as well try it -- thanks for the suggestion.
Site folks: I really shou ld not have to go to all this effort to stop getting the emails. The default setting for a ll previous posts when we import our accounts to plus should be do NOT subscrib e -- and if it isn't, setting our preference to "no" globally should certainly stop the mails.
Edit: and why is this site putting spaces in the middle of my words? Meh.
