I don't know if you meant to put kilos instead of lbs., but you're bmi for the info you have down is 20.9 currently not 30.3.

In addition, if you are even remotely thinking you want to reach 90lbs., this is not the forum for you.  You are actual in a healthy range regarding your BMI, closer to unhealthy (but good) than to overweight, again, if you're talking pounds instead of kilos.

Please .clarify.  Thanks

did I read that correctly?  You want to weigh 90 pounds and you are 5'11"?  That will be extremely unhealthy and unsustainable.  If your current weight is 150, not only are you near the low end of a healthy BMI -- your BMI cannot possibly be 30.3 -- I have you at 20.3

I welcome you to CC, and we will offer you all the support you could possibly ask for -- in pursuit of a healthy weight goal pursued in a healthy manner (1-2 pounds per week).

The tools on this site allow you to input metric measurements -- I recommend that you do so and determine what your actual weight/bmi is (you can use kg, most of us can figure out the 1kg = 2.2lb).

to edit your settings, click on My Account, then on the "edit settings" underneath your picture

Perhaps she means that she is 5'1?

It would make a lot more sense and be less alarming; that's for sure.

Embarassed I feel so stupid I mean 4'11, No my bmi really is 30.3 I'm huge I can no longer go into a Mcdonalds without people staring at me and muttering things, I dont have a shape anymore more like a little round ball lol

Ok -- we can live with 4'11" and 90 pounds Laughing

With a bmi of 30, you are not that huge -- many of us started here (or still are) much larger than a bmi of 30.

But, having said that, I realize that it is your impression of yourself.

Again, I welcome you to CC and hope that we can help you get to where you want to be.

Whew!Surprised  You really scared us there!

Coach K is right on!  We are our own worst critics and even at my lowest weight, I still think I wear a size 20 every now and then, and that was 100lbs ago!

This is a great site and you will get a lot of fabulous support here in all topics!

Don't feel stupid, missmoomoo :] everyone just misread it!

I just wanted to wish you luck and say congrats on deciding to make a life change!
Stay strong and you'll do great :D

Take care!

Congrats!  Some how addmitting I'm on a diet to my friends helped too!  Then they all realized they could help me by checking on me and seeing how it's going.  They also are really excited for ANY progress you make.  It's a huge boost to keep going!  I just started last week and lost 3 lbs.  If I can do it(I'm a big foodie) anyone can.  Good luck.
