making your own "tortilla" chips, how?

Quote  |  Reply

i've heard you can take a wrap, cut it into pieces and put it in the oven to create crispy tortilla chips you can use for dipping into salsa, hummus, etc.

how long do you put it in the oven for and at what temperature?

i'm a straight up n00b when it comes to cooking.

oh!  i love those.  i make them sometimes for parties, with guacamole and salsa dip.  you can put them in the oven at 400F for 8-10 mins and then they are done!  it's so easy!

They're also SO good if you just sprinkle them w/ a cinnamon and a tiny bit of sugar....yum, my mouth is watering just thinking about them!!

Yumm. I like to brush them lightly with olive oil and sprinkle
with adobo seasoning, or just salt and pepper before i pop
them in the oven.

I make mine in the toaster oven :) and just spray the tin foil u put on the cookie sheet with pam and then cut them into triangles and lay them down then spray them with pam again on top and add a lil salt and then just put them in the toaster oven on like 350 and then just cook them until they are slightly browned (make sure they dont look wet still when you take them out bc then they wont be crunchy!!) sorry i didnt give a good time i just never time them lol
