Man hitting a woman caught on film!

Wow, A friend just showed this to me, and it is shocking.

Is the common response for a situation like this for the males to form a mob and attack the man who assaults the woman? I've never seen anything like this with my own eyes.

Another one caught on film on an Indian TV show. I guess the common response is for a mob of men to attack the offending or defending male. It must be cross cultural. haha

Indian Slap.

I've seen a couple of bar fights that started this way. Several guys rushing a guy who hit a girl. I've never seen such a mob form, but yeah, I think it's pretty common for strange guys to come to rescue a woman being hit by a guy.

On the reverse side, I wish more women would come to the aid of a man when he's being hit and kicked by a woman.

Laugh all you want, but I've seen it.  Woman is hitting and kicking the man.  The man is afraid to do anything to defend himself.  Everyone else just stands around and lets it happen.  The other men are afraid to do anything that involves putting their hands on the woman to get her to stop.  The other women just stand there laughing.

I've seen that too a couple of times. It makes me respect the man more for not hitting her back.

^^  See, mooni.  Nobody can claim we're sexist Laughing

lol all I could think about when I saw this was that episode of family guy where Meg turns up the thermostat and all the men appear. :)

Seriously though, she hit him first. Woman should not assume they can hit anyone and not get hit back.

Yeah, she shouldn't have hit him in the first place. We women want equality...but heck...we don't want to be slapped BACK? Hmmm

For the record I agree with Peaches, but as one could point out, most women punch.. well, like girls.

A fight against a man vs. a woman... for most cases, the man could win. He has more muscle strength and is far more likely to actually KNOW how to throw a punch and do damage.

So it's not as if a fight between man and woman is precisely fair.

Wait a second...I didn't see her hit him first.  What I saw was that someone turned on a video camera in the middle of a scuffle.  We have no idea what happened before the camera was rolling.

I second that to the 10th power!

Watch it again. She hauled off and popped him one right across the head. THEN he whapped her back. They should use their words and keep their hands to themselves. That is what we tell the kids at the elementary school where I  work...

Yeah.  Not gonna get into a debate on who hit who first.  They were already physically connected when the camera started rolling.  There is no way to tell.

BUT, I agree that no woman shoudd assume they can hit anyone and get away with it.

I just rewatched the beginning of the pool scuffle about 5 times. There is no way to know who started getting physical with whom first. The cameras show a couple scuffling and then he hits her then the other men jump in an whoop ass on him.

100% agree that no woman should assume they can hit anyone and get away with it.

Unfortunately the idea of the woman slapping a man in the face for insulting her was romanticized in many movies and early TV. Nowadays far too many people seem to think people deserve to "get their clock cleaned" just because the person is a jerk.

O man, I got punched in the mouth once buy a guy....he hit me like I was a guy. He got punched right back....and I hit more like a guy than girl! hahah

no one deserves to get hit.

But I've seen the other side, too. I had a friend who was getting beat up by a chick twice his size. She beat him pretty bad until me and another friend came up. he was too scared to hit her.

Hey, if I'm going to punch someone I expect to get punched back...and vise versa! haha

I didn't see the first one at first, just noticed it. That was pretty wild and crazy. There is definitely no way to tell who started that fight (in the pool).

Don't hate me, please, but normally, when a woman is beating the crap out of a man, he's done something to deserve it. LOL

All kidding aside, any kind of physical abuse (no matter who is abusing/hitting whom) is unnecessary.  When our world comes to terms with that, then we can truly say we are a civilized society.

Don't hate you.  But I don't agree either.  Should there really be a double standard like that?  What would you say if a man said "well she deserved it"?  We'd all be furious.  I just don't think it's ok for a woman to use that line either.

Sorry, I keep forgetting the sarcasm in my words doesn't carry through in text.  Thus the "all kidding aside" and "lol".  Please read the second part of my post.

ive heard and seen this many times. as an indian, ive heard of the tv show and what it was all about. basically its a show where the host, the lady, has to be rude and condescending to the competitors, and they have to take it. she then slapped him (which she was allowed to, as they had agreed to in their contracts, but i thought it was totally out of line) and as a reflex he just slapped the hell outtta her back, and so everybody rushed to stop him from doing anything else to her.

in india, guys are actually very respectful towards most women so they were really pissed off that he slapped her, and it happens a lot in india. men dont swear infront of women, etc etc.

i dont think she had any right to slap him to start off with though

if anybody wants to see the full clip, go on youtube and search how can she slap dadagiri, the full thing will for sure come up

That seems pretty mild to me compared to this. And in this no one does a dang thing:

Man punches 16 year old girl in McDonald's:

Count me as another one who hates those movie scenes where a woman slaps a man who offends her, and it's somehow seen as ok.
