I have no idea if there's interest in this. If not, OK.
Are some of the men on this site interested in an all-male support group. Men sometimes deal with different issues (or different intricacies) of weight loss that women don't.
Would there be interest in having a place where men can talk to other men about weight loss, weight maintenance or weight/muscle gain?
No women need apply. Sorry. :)

Sounds good to me
Sounds good to me too. Might be pretty boring reading for some of the ladies but then again it could be fun.
I don't want to hear any stories about how you guys are full after only 900 calories.
Sealboy, this site does not condone the use of low-calorie diets to lose weight. And while we can't stop people from posting, this support group will be for men interested in losing, maintaining or gaining weight in a healthy manner, through healthy cuts (or additions) of calories and exercise, with a predisposition towards healthy eating.
And, yes, it might be boring reading for the ladies. I just wondered if there was interest. I don't see why not have a "Men's" club, given the 150s club, 160s club, 170s club, etc. :)

Dude, I't called a joke.
Possibly so, but I wasn't joking :)
I like it... espicially since you mentioned gains and cuts. I think most guys would like it. I certainly couldn't see the harm in it. :)
EDIT: Just please don't call it MAN group.

*laugh* OK. What do you suggest it be called? :)
I just know that we have men here with different aims. Some of y'all are looking to really bulk up, some of us are here to lose and maintain weight.

Perhaps it would make more sense to have multiple groups, one for men trying to lose fat, one for the guys trying to bulk up, maybe one for dudes who are trying to get more fit but not necessarily build lots of muscle.
Either way, it's a good idea.

Jockstrap Journals?
Rat-Tail Region?
Burly Businessmen, Inc? =X
I'm not really sure. lol. That's a hard question to answer. What does everyone else think it should be called?

Hey I think this is a great idea. Guys workout and play differently then women (for the most part) so it makes sence that we will have different questions and concerns about sports injuries or workout routines than most women. Not to mention the fact that our diets appear to be very different if the mojority of the postes on this site are any indication. :-)
I know it's not very sex specific but I like "The Locker Room" for a name. I gues you could go with "The Men's Locker Room"

How about The 'Locker Room (Men's Weight Management Support Group)', so it's clear what it is?
Suit yourselves, but I say *you'll* all be bored without the ladies.
I like the name :)
Pooh, darling... they won't be locked up in the Locker Room, they'll still come back to visit ;)

i count 3 pink icons already
I just don't wanna hear no complaining when we go to invade your Women's only threads ;)
Make that four. At my gym, the ladies are the reason the guys really show up. I know this for a fact.
You are ALL Trouble Makers!
In seriousness, I'm not saying we won't hang with you women. Just that men do sometimes deal with slightly different issues or slightly different takes.
By all means, continue posting in the.. over 100 to lose support group or the over 200 support group! Those are great!
This is just an idea for a different sort of support group :)

hkellick, this site does not condone the infringement of Women's only threads by MANs. And while we can't stop people from posting, those support groups are for the testicularly challenged who are interested in losing, maintaining or gaining weight in a healthy manner, through healthy cuts (or additions) of calories and exercise, with a predisposition towards healthy eating.
Well said.
Hk, you are right. I will never have questions about such things as "what's the best jock strap?" or " to the left or right, what's your preference?", so I will mosey on into the Tuesday chat. I may return occasionally to boost a male ego or two. ;-)
See all you sexy gentlemen later.
